GROMMET, CONDUIT SUPPORT ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD OF SUPPORTING A CONDUIT

A grommet is provided. The grommet includes a radially inner side wall, a radially outer side wall, and a support structure extending between the radially inner side wall and the radially outer side wall. The support structure includes a plurality of channel walls arranged in a grid-like pattern such that a plurality of hollow passages are defined by the plurality of channel walls.

A seal structure that includes: a grommet with a cylindrical shape that is installed in an attachment panel, the grommet including an opposing surface facing an attachment surface of the attachment panel; and a bracket that presses the opposing surface of the grommet against the attachment surface of the attachment panel.

A wire harness, including: an electrical wire; an exterior tube; and a flexible cover that includes: an exterior tube fixing portion that covers an outer peripheral surface of one end of the exterior tube and is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the one end of the exterior tube, an electrical wire fixing portion that covers an outer peripheral surface of the electrical wire led out from the one end of the exterior tube and is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the electrical wire, and a connection portion, which is formed by an elastic member of a constant thickness being folded over, that is folded over from the exterior tube fixing portion so as to cover the one end of the exterior tube and extends into the exterior tube, and is furthermore folded over and connected to the electrical wire fixing portion.

A power supply system including: a battery; a plug receiver into which a plug of a device can be plugged in a passenger compartment of a vehicle in which an occupant of the vehicle can ride; a floor that partitions between the passenger compartment and a space under the floor of the passenger compartment, the battery being mounted in the space under the floor; and an electric wire that extends from the battery, through the floor, and to the plug receiver and that can supply electricity.

The flared portion is configured to be in a state projecting from the grommet or in a state where the outer face is reversed to enter inside the inner face and store the flared portion in a storage space of the grommet. The bellows-like tube is stored inside the flared portion stored in the storage space.

The back body includes a flange provided with a plurality of fixing bosses, a cylindrical back barrel vertically protruding from the flange, the back barrel being inserted into the front barrel, and an inner coupling flare protruding from the flange and spaced apart from the back barrel, in which the inner coupling flare is formed by casting, and is pressed by a presser so that a front end of the inner coupling flare is bent inwardly.

The invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for producing a plug-through connection arrangement of a plurality of electrical cables (1a-1d) and/or fluid-conducting hoses, having a sheathing (2) consisting of a plastic, which extend, arranged adjacently spaced apart from each other, through associated openings (3a-3d) of a plastic component (4), comprising the following steps: providing (A) the plastic part (4) with the pre-produced plurality of openings (3a-3d), installing (B) the electrical cables (1a-1d) and/or fluid-conducting hoses through the associated openings (3a-3d), such that the outer wall of the sheathing (2), which consists of plastic, comes into contact with the inner wall of the respective openings (3a-3d) of the plastic component (4), thermal welding (C) of the electrical cables (1a-1d) and/or fluid-conducting hoses to the plastic component (4) in the region of the respective opening (3a-3d), in order to produce an integrally sealing component bond, wherein at least two laser beam units (5a, 5b), positioned opposite each other, are aligned to an associated initial connection point, after which the oppositely positioned laser beam units (5a, 5b) are activated and caused to undergo a linear relative movement crosswise to the orientation of the openings (3a-3d), in order to create the integral bond by surface melting of the sheathing (2) together with the plastic component (4).
