A method for washing a window of a vehicle, using at least one wiper blade member and a liquid projector that projects liquid for washing the window onto a wiping surface has a first wiping cycle including a first step of actuating the wiper blade member to move over the window in a first direction from a first starting position to a wiping end position, while projecting the liquid onto the wiping surface, and a second step of actuating the wiper blade member to move over the window in a second direction opposite the first direction from the wiping end position to the first starting position, and a second wiping cycle including a third step of actuating the wiper blade member to move over the window in the first direction from the first starting position to the wiping end position, while projecting the liquid onto the wiping surface.

WIPER DEVICE

A wiper device includes a wiper arm that includes a recess and that is swung due to rotation of a wiper motor, the wiper arm causes a wiper blade coupled to a leading end portion of the wiper arm to perform a wiping operation across a surface of a windshield glass, an acceleration sensor that is installed in the recess of the wiper arm, a drive circuit that generates a voltage to be applied to the wiper motor, and a control circuit that controls the drive circuit such that a voltage to reduce a change in acceleration of the wiper arm, detected by the acceleration sensor, is applied to the wiper motor.

A wiper control device that includes: a current detection section that detects a flow of current through a coil of a wiper motor; an environmental information acquisition section that acquires a vehicle speed or a vehicle external air temperature as environmental information; and a control section that controls a drive circuit such that a torque of an output shaft that is estimated from the current detected by the current detection section becomes equal to or less than a base limit torque that corresponds to a rotation angle detected by a rotation angle detection section, and such that a torque of the output shaft becomes equal to or less than a base limit torque that is corrected according to environmental information acquired by the environmental information acquisition section.

Device for cleaning a sensor for a motor vehicle

The present invention concerns a device for cleaning a sensor of a motor vehicle. The device in accordance with the invention includes means for simultaneous or sequential distribution via a distribution orifice (11) in a distribution nozzle (1) of a first fluid and/or a second fluid separately routed via a first admission channel (2) and/or via a second admission channel (3), respectively, to a common distribution chamber (10) in said distribution nozzle (1). It also includes means for moving said distribution nozzle (1) between a rest position and a deployed position, and these said means for moving the distribution nozzle (1) include means shared with the means for feeding the first admission channel (2) with the first fluid.

VEHICLE SENSOR CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME

A vehicle sensor cleaning system that includes one or more vehicle sensors and a cleaning device. The system determines parameters for a cleaning event based on sensed information, operating parameters of the vehicle, or environmental information. The system cleans the one or more sensors to allow for safe operation of the vehicle.

ISOLATING CIRCUIT FOR WIPER SYSTEM

A wiper system for a machine is provided. The wiper system includes a first motor configured to operate a first wiper and a second motor configured to operate a second wiper wherein the first motor and the second motor are connected in a parallel configuration. The wiper system further includes a power source which is in electrical connection with the first and the second motors for energizing each motor to move the respective wipers. The wiper system includes a switch configured to simultaneously operate the first motor and the second motor in one of a high speed mode, a low speed mode, or a park mode. The wiper system includes an isolating circuit configured to isolate the first motor from the power source and allow the second motor to run independent of the first motor when the switch is set in the park mode and speed of the first motor is different from speed of the second motor.
