Core metals 8 that are embedded at substantially equal intervals in a crawler revolving direction inside a crawler main body 7 are included, lateral slip preventing protrusions 15 and 16 that at both sides in a crawler width direction of the core metals 8 project to both sides in the crawler revolving direction and prevent lateral slip of adjacent core metals 8 with respect to each other in the crawler width direction are included, first track roller rolling portions 21 provided on the core metals 8 between the respective lateral slip preventing protrusions 15 and 16 at both sides in the crawler revolving direction are included, and the respective lateral slip preventing protrusions 15 and 16 have lateral slip preventing portions 15a and 16a that are in proximity in the crawler width direction between the respective lateral slip preventing protrusions 15 and 16 that are adjacent in the crawler width direction and second track roller rolling portions 15b and 16b that are provided on the lateral slip preventing portions 15a and 16a such as to be separated in the crawler width direction.

VEHICLE TRACK SYSTEM AND ASSEMBLY FOR OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS
20210354768 · 2021-11-18 ·

A vehicle track system and assembly for outfitting vehicles for mobility in off-road conditions. Snow, mud, muck, soil, sand, ice, and other fickle conditions are more readily traversed. In an example, a hub assembly, a pair of drivers, a frame, a pair of rails, and a pair of tracks are all part of the vehicle track system and assembly. The drivers are incited to rotate by the hub assembly. The frame has multiple sets of frame members that are connected to the rails. And the tracks are furnished with numerous paddles and are driven to move via the drivers.

TRACK SYSTEM

A track system for use with a vehicle includes an attachment assembly connectable to the chassis of the vehicle having a multi-pivot assembly having a first pivot extending longitudinally and defining a roll pivot axis, and a second pivot extending laterally and defining a pitch pivot axis. A frame assembly is disposed laterally outwardly from the attachment assembly and connected thereto. The frame assembly includes at least one wheel-bearing frame member. The track system further includes at least one actuator connected between the attachment assembly and the frame assembly for pivoting the frame assembly about the roll pivot axis, a leading idler wheel assembly, a trailing idler wheel assembly, at least one support wheel assembly, and an endless track.

Track system for traction of a vehicle

A track for traction of a vehicle, such as an agricultural vehicle, an industrial vehicle (e.g., a construction vehicle), a military vehicle, or another off-road vehicle, is provided. The track comprises a ground-engaging outer surface for engaging the ground and a plurality of traction projections projecting from the ground-engaging outer surface and distributed in a longitudinal direction of the track. The traction projections may be designed to enhance their resistance to deterioration during use. For example, a blowout resistance of each traction projection may be enhanced to prevent or at least reduce a potential for blowout of the traction projection under repeated loads which may induce heat buildup within it. Also, a wear resistance of the traction projection may be enhanced such that the traction projection wears less rapidly. A system for protecting a track against potential occurrence of blowout is also provided.

Track assembly for an off-road vehicle

A track assembly for traction of a tracked vehicle, such as an agricultural vehicle, an industrial vehicle (e.g., a construction vehicle) or a military vehicle, is provided. The track assembly comprises a plurality of wheels which comprises a drive wheel and a plurality of roller wheels, as well as an elastomeric endless track disposed around the plurality of wheels for engaging the ground. A roller wheel may comprise a wheel body and a covering on the wheel body. The covering may comprise a lateral portion dimensioned to contact a drive/guide lug of the track. The roller wheels and the track may implement a self-alignment system of the track assembly. The track assembly may comprise a cooling system for transferring heat away from a roller wheel. The track assembly may comprise a lateral motion mechanism allowing a roller wheel to move widthwise in response to a side load.

Rear track assembly for a vehicle

A track assembly mountable to a rotatable rear axle of a vehicle includes a frame, a drive wheel rotationally mounted to the frame and being structured to be attached to the axle of the vehicle, a front idler wheel and a rear idler wheel assemblies mounted to the frame, and a track. The track has an inner surface facing the drive wheel, and an outer surface opposite the inner surface. The outer surface has a plurality of traction lugs distributed along the outer surface. The track includes a plurality of longer transverse reinforcement rods distributed therethrough and a plurality of shorter transverse reinforcement rods distributed therethrough. The shorter transverse reinforcement rods are shorter in length than the longer transverse reinforcement rods. Each of the longer and shorter transverse reinforcement rods is aligned along at least a part of its length with at least one of the traction lugs.
