Multi-flavor frozen beverage dispenser
The present disclosure provides an improved system and method that includes a food dispensing machine for dispensing a base food product through a dispensing valve and adding ingredients and other additives, such as flavors and the like, to the base food product when the product is dispensed from a product chamber. Apparatuses and methods for maintaining a consistent mix of the base product in the freezing chamber are disclosed as are processes for calibrating desired proportions of ingredients.
Heat exchanger and method of making thereof
A heat exchanger includes an inner tube extending longitudinally along a central axis and having an inner surface bounding a product chamber and an outer surface having a plurality of channels disposed at circumferentially spaced intervals in alternating relationship with a plurality of fins about the circumference of the outer surface of the inner tube; and a longitudinally extending outer tube disposed coaxially about and circumscribing the inner tube in radially spaced relationship, the outer tube having an inner surface contacting the plurality of fins of the inner cylinder, the outer surface being welded to the fins at a plurality of weld locations.
PORT UNIT FOR A FOOD PROCESSING APPLIANCE
Provided is a port for a food processing appliance, in particular an appliance for the processing of ingredients and preparing a cooled edible product therefrom, e.g. ice cream, sorbet, gelato, frozen yogurt, soft-serve ice cream, slushes, shakes, blended frozen coffee drinks, etc., particularly such an appliance intended for home use, offices, or for small businesses.
SYSTEM FOR DELIVERING FROZEN OR CHILLED BEVERAGES
The invention relates to a system (100) for delivering frozen or chilled beverages. The system (100) comprises a device (10) and a container (20), the container (20) comprising a frozen product and the device (10) being configured for receiving the container (20) and for processing the frozen product of the container (20) to deliver the final beverage. The device (10) comprises: a slicing element (60), the slicing element (60) and the frozen product being relatively rotatable to each other about a rotation axis in order to slice the frozen product, and a driving unit (50) configured to provide the relative rotation between the slicing element (60) and the frozen product. The container (20) comprises a container inner wall (301) being in contact with the frozen product, wherein the container inner wall (301) has a cross-section, which is shaped such that a relative rotation between the container (20) and the frozen product about the rotation axis is blocked.
Multi-flavor food and/or beverage dispenser
Applicants have created an improved multi-flavor food and/or beverage dispenser including an improved nozzle for injection of flavored liquids into a base liquid. The apparatuses and systems described herein can be used with different food and beverage products including, but not limited to, frozen carbonated beverages, frozen alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, frozen yogurts, frozen ice creams and other dispensable food and beverage products
Beverage mixing system and method
A beverage mixing system/method allowing faster mixing/blending of frozen beverages is disclosed. The system/method in various embodiments utilizes inductive coupling to introduce heat into the frozen beverage during the mixing/blending process via a rotating driveshaft and attached mechanical agitator to speed the mixing/blending process. Exemplary embodiments may be configured to magnetically induce heat into the driveshaft and/or mechanical agitator mixing blade to affect this mixing/blending performance improvement. This heating effect may be augmented via the use of high power LED arrays aimed into the frozen slurry to provide additional heat input. The system/method may be applied with particular advantage to the mixing of ice cream type beverages and other viscous beverage products.
Beverage container dispenser and method for dispensing beverage containers
A method for dispensing a beverage container to a consumer. The method includes receiving in a beverage container dispenser a first beverage container that contains a beverage corresponding to a beverage selection of a user. The method further includes dispensing a second beverage container containing the beverage from a temperature-regulated compartment of the beverage container dispenser. The second beverage container that is dispensed from the temperature-regulated compartment corresponds to the beverage selection of the user.
DEVICE FOR DELIVERING FROZEN OR CHILLED BEVERAGES
The invention relates to a device (10), a container (20), a system (100) comprising the device (10) and the container (20), and a method for delivering frozen or chilled beverages. The device (10) is provided for receiving a container (20) comprising a frozen product and for processing the frozen product of the container (20) for delivering a frozen or chilled beverage, wherein the container (20) comprises a first end (20a), a second end (20b) and a sidewall (20c) extending between the first end (20a) and the second end (20b). The device (10) comprises a slicing element (60) and a driving unit (50) configured to rotate the container (20) and thus the frozen product about a rotation axis for rotating the frozen product relative to the slicing element (60) in order to slice the frozen product. The device (10) further comprises a reading unit (41) configured to read a machine-readable identification element (22) of the container (20), wherein the reading unit (41) is positioned such that an identification element (22) provided on the sidewall (20c) of the container (20) is readable by the reading unit (41), when the container (20) is rotating about the rotation axis.
