Container
This invention relates to a container comprising and outer shell and an inner lining, to a method of construction of such a container and to components used in the construction of such a container. A container comprises an outer shell made from a first material comprising paperboard, and an inner lining made from a second material comprising a polymeric or metallic material, the lining defining an internal volume for holding a liquid, and the lining being adhered to the shell, wherein, the outer shell includes a line of weakness extending around at least part of the periphery of the shell and defining a first portion of the shell on one side of said line and a second portion of the shell on the other side of said line, the line of weakness permitting the first portion of the shell to be separated from the second portion of the shell, and wherein, the lining is adhered to the shell in said first portion and the lining extends into to said second portion of the shell.
Snack food container
A snack food container having a square base, side walls substantially consisting of four right triangular panels and two isosceles triangular panels, and a flat, two dimensional end seal. The container is opened by use of a tear feature just below the end seal. The container is of paperboard construction and is resealable by virtue of a score line on each side of the container located below the end seal in combination with a horizontal cut through the container located below one score line. After opening, the container can be resealed by folding the container over the score lines towards the horizontal cut. An edge of the container is then secured in the horizontal cut.
COMPOSITE PACK FOR FILLING LIQUID MATERIAL
A composite pack for filling liquid material having an interior member as a non-self-standing type liquid material filling package member of filling a liquid material and an exterior member capable of stably holding the interior member, includes a bag-shaped interior member formed by the liquid material into a soft package bag and an exterior member for housing the interior member and including a cylindrical body, a bottom wall disposed at a lower end of the cylindrical body and an opening portion formed in an upper end of the cylindrical body. The interior member includes a sheet-like nozzle for pouring the liquid material protruded in an upper end portion or a side end upper portion of the package bag, and the exterior member includes at the opening portion a sealing structure unit having a top face wall closing the opening portion and plural vertical rubs standing from the top face wall.
Pouring Element and Composite Package With Improved Opening Behaviour
Illustrated and described is a pouring element for a composite package, including a monolithic main body with a flange, a hollow cylindrical spout, which defines a central axis, and a closure part formed in the spout, which runs substantially orthogonal to the central axis, with a weakening zone, a hollow cylindrical cutting element movably guided in the spout with at least one cutting tooth for severing the weakening zone to open the spout and composite package, a reclosable screw cap, which serves to drive the cutting element when the composite package is opened for the first time. Two alternative composite packages for liquid foodstuffs are also described, which are provided such that a pouring element according to the invention is integrated into the gable region of the composite package. An overall more favourable alternative of a pouring element without additional barrier foil is designed such that the main body consists of at least 92% by weight of HDPE and according to ASTM D3985 has an oxygen transmission rate between 12 and 23 ml O.sub.2/(m.sup.2*day), measured through a measuring surface which is orthogonal to the central axis and runs through the flange of the main body.
Carton configured with dual opening capabilities
A dual-opening carton has a front, rear, and opposing side panels. A flap extends over the top of the carton, allowing the top to be opened and re-closed. A score line extends around the carton to facilitate the removal of a top portion of the carton. The score line has segments extending along the front panel, the rear panel, and rear portions of the side panels that have a relatively low cut length to land length ratios that maintain relatively high structural integrity. The score line also has segments extending along the front of the side panels have a relatively high cut length to land length ratio to facilitate tear propagation. The score line extending along the side panels is angled so that a pull force vector removing the top portion of the carton runs along a plane generally parallel to the score line.
Carton with locking feature
A carton for holding at least one article. The carton has a front panel and a back panel that at least partially form an interior of the carton. A first end flap is foldably connected to one of the front panel and the back panel and a second end flap is foldably connected to one of the front panel and the back panel. Locking features are for releasably securing the end flaps in a closed configuration with the first end flap and the second end flap in face-to-face contact. The locking features comprise a male locking feature foldably connected to at least one of the first end flap and the second end flap, and a female locking feature adjacent at least one of the first end flap and the second end flap.

Packaging container and blank for a packaging container
A gable top packaging container has a plurality of upstanding side walls including a first side wall, a front wall, a rear wall and a second side wall, wherein the front wall connects to a front gable panel and the back wall connects to a back gable panel, both extending up to a sealed top fin, the first side wall connects to a first side gable panel, and the second side wall connects to a second side gable panel, wherein the walls are separated by crease lines extending in a longitudinal direction of the packaging container, characterized in that the front wall is continuous with the front gable panel, and the back wall is continuous with the back gable panel.
Paper container
A paper container includes a body panel on which a first auxiliary folding line having an upwardly curved shape is formed to have end portions arranged so as to connect reference points to each other, or connect together positions that are near the reference points on body vertical folding lines or positions that are away from the body vertical folding lines and below the reference points in a height direction of each of the body vertical folding lines.
