A method for producing a packaging, and in particular a film packaging having a bubble-like receiving cavity, in particular for producing a blister pack, comprising the following steps: overlapping at least two film elements, shaping at least one receiving cavity for receiving at least one object to be packaged between the overlapping film elements, and connecting the at least two film elements along a shared sealed edge region extending at least partially around the periphery of the receiving cavity, and in particular by way of at least one sealing weld joint, so as to seal the receiving cavity, wherein the two film elements are designed without any intermediate space on the sealing edge region projecting from the same, wherein opening means, which allow simplified access to the receiving cavity, are provided.
Break-Open Single-Dose Packages
A break-open single-dose package includes a panel defining a frangible region, one or more sheets coupled to the panel and defining a pocket therebetween for storing a spreadable consumable, and an applicator. The frangible region is adapted to form an opening through which the spreadable consumable can exit in response to folding of the panel. The applicator includes a backing and a vessel extending from the backing. The vessel defines a channel for receiving any spreadable consumable that exits the pocket. The applicator is positioned adjacent to the frangible region for permitting a user to spread on a surface any spreadable consumable that exits the pocket using the applicator without requiring the user's hand(s) to contact the spreadable consumable. The backing is configured to move with the panel and separate from the vessel in response to folding of the panel. Other example packages and/or applicators are also disclosed.
DISPLAY PACKAGING FOR MOUNTING ARTICLES
Disclosed are display packages allowing consumers to quickly and easily determine whether a given mounting article should be used to hang or otherwise retain a desired object. The display packages include a projection designed to tear or otherwise separate from a backing once an object exceeding a recommended weight is mounted on the projection. If the projection remains attached to the backing, the mounting article is appropriate for the object. If the projection separates, another mounting article should be used.

The present invention discloses a packaging apparatus having a pod (1) containing product (3), and a retaining layer (2) which closes the pod (1) so that the product (3) is held captive within the pod (1), the pod (1) and/or the retaining layer (2) has a predetermined frangible feature which provides a weakened portion (4) in part of the surface of the pod (1) and/or the retaining layer (2) and thereby the weakened portion (4) is broken by deforming the pod (1) to get access to the product (3).

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a cosmetic arrangement can be provided, which can include a first structure that can enclose a cosmetic active ingredient(s), a second structure that can enclose a solvent solution, a third structure(s) that can separate the solvent solution from the cosmetic active ingredient(s), a medium that can be configured to absorb a mixture of the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and solvent solution, and an indicator structure that can be configured to indicate whether the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and the solvent solution have come in contact with one another. Upon an application of a particular amount of pressure on a portion(s) of the arrangement, the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and the solvent solution can be caused to come into direct contact with one another.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SEALED SINGLE-DOSE BREAK-OPEN PACKAGE
A production method of a sealed single-dose break-open package; wherein the package comprises: a first sheet of semi-rigid plastic; a second sheet of flexible plastic superposed on and sealed to the first sheet to define a sealed pocket that contains a dose of a product; and a weakened zone made in a central zone of the first sheet for guiding, after bending of the package, controlled breaking of the first sheet at the weakened zone to cause formation of an outlet opening for the product through the first sheet; the method includes making in a surface (8, 10) of the first sheet an incision that constitutes the weakened zone; wherein the incision is made through plastic deformation of the material using an incision tool having a tip that is not sharp, that is, that has a round shape for deforming rather than cutting.
Corner-Break-Open Sealed Package
A break-open sealed package is disclosed; the sealed package includes: a first sheet of semi-rigid plastic material; a sealed pocket, which contains a dose of a product and is delimited on one side by the first sheet; and a pre-weakened area, which guides, following a folding of the first sheet, a controlled break of the first sheet in the pre-weakened area to form an outlet opening for the product through the first sheet. The pre-weakened area is arranged at one end of the first sheet and extends from a first outer edge of the first sheet to a second outer edge of the first sheet to divide the first sheet into a holding portion and into a folding portion that is smaller than the holding portion.
SEALED SINGLE-DOSE BREAK-OPEN PACKAGE AND RELATIVE PRODUCTION METHOD
A sealed single-dose break-open package having: a first sheet of semi-rigid plastic material; a second sheet of flexible plastic material superposed on and sealed to the first sheet to define a sealed pocket that contains a dose of a product; and a weakened zone that is made in a central zone of the first sheet for guiding, after bending of the sealed package, controlled breaking of the first sheet at the weakened zone in such a way as to cause the formation of an outlet opening for the product through the first sheet. The weakened zone comprises at least one incision that is made in a surface of the first sheet and extends along a single line that is open and does not cross itself. The incision comprises a U-shaped central part and two lateral parts that are positioned on opposite sides of the central part and connect to the central part.

A break-open single-dose sealed package and method for the production thereof; the sealed package has: a first sheet of semi-rigid plastic material; a second sheet of flexible plastic material set on top of and welded to the first sheet along an annular weld, so as to define a sealed pocket containing a dose of a product; and a pre-weakened area that develops transversely and is obtained in a central area of the first sheet; the pocket is divided into two distinct and separated chambers which are insulated from one another and each contain a corresponding component of the product; and the pocket is divided into the two chambers due to a central weld connecting the second sheet to the first sheet and is weak, so as to be broken by exerting pressure on at least one of the two chambers.
