Devices and methods for controlling headspace humidity and oxygen levels
A humidity control device for use in maintaining the desired humidity of a closed environment, e.g., a container, while also decreasing headspace oxygen, the device including a water vapor and oxygen permeable pouch, an aqueous salt solution containing humidity controlling salts in combination with salts of ascorbic acid or isomers thereof.
Desiccant Bag for Electronic Equipment and Method for Producing a Protective Film in Electronic Equipment
Desiccant bag for electronic devices characterized in that it comprises: A first outer bag, made of plastic, hermetically sealed. A second porous bag, housed inside the first bag, leaving a gap between the first bag and the second porous bag, in which an absorbent material or drying product (superabsorbent polymer) is housed. A third porous bag housed inside the second bag, impregnated with an oxygen scavenger material housing the electronic device to be recovered and/or protected wherein the first two bags are crossed by a transverse pipe which has a connection having a bypass which starting from the connection penetrates inside the third bag. A minimization of the drying time, effectiveness in the process by using mechanical and chemical means and effectiveness that can reach 100% are achieved.
TABLET CONTAINERS, UNIT DOSE TABLET PACKAGES, AND METHODS OF MAKING TABLET CONTAINERS AND UNIT DOSE TABLET PACKAGES
A tablet container includes a rigid jacket with a closed end, an open end, and an interior. A cover is on the open end of the jacket and a desiccant body disposed within the jacket to impound residual moisture retained within the jacket interior subsequent to fixation of the cover to the open end of the jacket. Unit dose tablet packages and methods of making tablet containers and unit dose tablet packages are also described.
Controlled-Atmosphere Flexible Packaging and Use of Alicyclic Polyolefin Barrier Material for Controlled Atmosphere Products
Controlled-atmosphere flexible packaging includes a multilayer polymeric film heat-sealed to form an enclosure, with an alicyclic polyolefin barrier layer forming a heat-seal and a controlled atmosphere retained within said enclosure. The controlled atmosphere is selected from inert gas atmospheres, such as nitrogen atmospheres and the packaging is used for snack foods in order to extend shelf-life. In other embodiments, an alicyclic barrier component improves performance of gas barrier structures for a variety of applications.
Dispensing cartridge
A dispensing cartridge may be improved by the inclusion of an actuator and an agitator. Specifically, activation of the actuator may move the agitator within the cartridge to agitate the items and to direct one of the items into a position for dispensing. Concurrently, activation of the actuator may move a cap of the cartridge to align a dispensing hole with the position for dispensing, thereby allowing for the dispensing of a single item.
Sealing disk for a closure cap for containers, especially bottles
A sealing disc for a closure cap for containers, especially bottle closures for liquids fermented with yeast, consists of a plurality of layers (1, 2, 3, 4). One of these layers (4) comprises an active especially metallic substance in layered or particulate form which binds sulphur compounds in order to reduce the formation of sulphide odours after the bottle has been filled.
Facilitating inter-system data transfer with seralized data objects
A computer server includes processor and memory hardware. The processor hardware executes instructions including parsing a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request from a first user agent to identify a first data object matching a set of characteristics and generating a new data element based on the HTTP request. The instructions include, in response to the first data object being present: extracting a first set of serialized data elements and serializing them with the new data element to generate a second data object. The instructions include, in response to the first data object being absent and a user associated with the first user agent being identifiable: determining a second set of serialized data elements based on an identity of the user, and serializing them with the new data element to generate the second data object. The instructions include transmitting an HTTP response including the second data object.
MEDICINE CONTAINER, METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE CONTAINER, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE CONTAINER
A medicine container that includes a container body comprising a bottom wall that at least partially defines an interior of the container body, wherein the bottom wall comprises a protrusion extending into the interior, and a canister base coupled to the protrusion, wherein the canister base is configured to hold a desiccant canister within the interior of the container body when the canister base is coupled to the protrusion.
Syringe Packaging System Including Oxygen Absorber
A syringe packaging system that includes a packaging member defining a first compartment, a second compartment, and a third compartment that are in gaseous communication theretogether is disclosed. The first compartment is structured to receive a syringe barrel therein, the second compartment is structured to receive a plunger rod therein, and the third compartment is structured to receive an oxygen absorber therein. With the packaging member enclosing the syringe barrel, the plunger rod, and the oxygen absorber, the oxygen absorber is adapted to draw oxygen from within the syringe barrel and to absorb oxygen contained within at least one of the first compartment, the second compartment, and the third compartment of the packaging member. The syringe packaging system of the present disclosure also allows for reduced storage space of a syringe assembly.
TREATMENT OF MODIFIED ATMOSPHERE PACKAGING
The invention relates to a device for preserving, sanitizing, ripening, and preventing or suppressing the growth of microbials within a package used for the transport and storage of various items, such as fresh fruits, vegetables, and other perishables and parcels. The device includes an enclosed container and at least one sack operably disposed adjacent the container, wherein the sack encloses an agent and the agent releases/absorbs gases in the container.
