Singulator
A singulator has been realized which comprises a diverger module extending between an inlet station and an outlet station; the diverger module is configured to receive articles at the inlet station and convey them towards the outlet station along a main advancement direction. The diverger module has: a first zone extending from the inlet station to the outlet station and configured to impart to the articles resting thereon an advancement motion along the main advancement direction, a second zone flanking the first zone along the advancement direction and extending between the inlet station and the outlet station. The second zone is configured to impart to the articles resting thereon an advancement motion along the main direction and a lateral movement away from the first zone. The first zone of the diverger module projects, at least for a length, away from a prevalent average plane of extension of the second zone in the direction of the articles to be supported so as to define an ascent zone of the diverger module.
System and method for automated sortation
System and method are provided where parcels or packages are associated or grouped, into logical group or logical containerization of parcels or packages, without need for physical container, such that parcels or packages can be tracked as a group, for example with a unique group ID. Logical group may be tracked within specified logical zone on conveyor, transported, sorted and/or otherwise processed as unique logical group without need to be contained in physical container. System and method for automated sortation can accumulate set number or set volume of packages, and then process the accumulated set number or volume of packages, including automatically closing a container filled with the packages.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STACKING LUMBER
An assembly and method thereof creates a stack of objects. The assembly has a diverter to move objects having a desired size from a first conveyor to a second conveyor. The diverter utilizes diversion plates. The second conveyor transfers the objects to an accumulator. The objects that are accumulated are squared and then moved to a raised position. A lift assembly then lifts the accumulated objects that were square and translates the objects to a queuing assembly. The process repeats itself to construct a stack of objects with multiple layers of objects. The created stack of objects may then be transferred to a subsequent destination for further use or processing.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND COMPONENTS FOR PACKAGE HANDLING AND SORTATION INCLUDING CONTAINER EXCHANGE PROCESS
A container exchange method is provided including monitoring a status of containers disposed in a parcel transfer area and automatically controlling an automated mobile exchange device, holding an empty container, to approach a position of a first container, of the plurality of the containers, based on the status of the first container. The automated mobile exchange device may be controlled based on a fill level of the first container. The automated mobile exchange device may then us the empty container to push the first container from the parcel transfer area to a transfer mechanism, whereby the first container is transferred to a takeaway conveyor, and the empty container is moved into the parcel transfer area.

Logical group may be tracked within a specified logical zone, transported, sorted and/or otherwise processed as unique logical group in container, or without need to be contained in physical container. System and method for automated sortation can accumulate set number or set volume of packages, and then process the accumulated set number or volume of packages.
