Mounting system and accessory components
A mounting system for attaching components, or accessories, to surfaces without compromising, but instead maintaining, the integrity of the mounting surface. The mounting system is easily movable, can withstand or support heavy loads, does not require permanent alteration of the mounting surface by drilling holes or tapping screws and does not require hardware to be affixed to the surface.

CONVERTIBLE FISHING ROD CARRIER
Convertible fishing rod carriers may include an elongate telescoping portion configured to house one or more fishing rods and an enlarged housing configured to accommodate reels of the one or more fishing rods. Carriers described herein may be convertible between a portable configuration, in which the carrier maybe transported by hand, and a mounted configuration, in which the carrier is secured to a vehicle rack. In the mounted configuration, some examples include a locking feature configured to prevent removal of the carrier from the rack.
CONVERTIBLE FISHING ROD CARRIER
Convertible fishing rod carriers may include an elongate telescoping portion configured to house one or more fishing rods and an enlarged housing configured to accommodate reels of the one or more fishing rods. The present disclosure describes a fishing rod transport that includes a rear structural support, a plurality of rod supports attached to the rear structural support, and a reel compartment attached to the rear structural support. A first rod support extends through a first hole in the rear structural support, a second rod support extends through a second hole in the rear structural support, and a center of the first hole is disposed vertically higher than a center of the second hole.

Automobile fishing rod transportation rack attachment
A two piece fishing rod storage assembly, especially designed to be mounted on a automobile roof rack, is provided. The rear assembly is installed on the rear roof rack crossbar and the front assembly is installed on the front roof rack crossbar. The rear assembly is comprised of a plurality of hollow tube sections connected to each other, running parallel to each other, and longitudinally with the automobile. In the rear of and spanning the inside of the hollow tube sections are a gimbal attached rod to prevent rotation of the fishing rod while in the rack. The front assembly is an alligator style horizontal clamping apparatus which clamps around the midsection or tip of a fishing rod and locks closed to prevent theft.

Encasement Protective Apparatus
A protective apparatus for an article, the apparatus including a rigid surrounding sidewall with first and second end portions, the sidewall has a chamber disposed within a primary interior of the sidewall that has a flexible partition member disposed between the sidewall and the chamber to dampen relative movement between the rigid sidewall and the chamber. Further, a flexible collar that is slidably engaged to a portion of an interior of the chamber, the flexible collar has a collar aperture that removably encompasses a portion of the article, wherein operationally the collar suspends the article within the chamber interior. Further, a head element is affixed to the sidewall second end portion and a hatch that has a removable engagement to the sidewall first end portion wherein both the head element and the hatch are operational to retain the article within the chamber in the sidewall.
Rod Holding Assembly
A rod holding assembly for coupling fishing rods to a chair includes a panel that is configured to couple to a chair, such as a boat seat, a lawn chair, and a wheelchair. The panel is rigid. A plurality of fasteners is coupled to an upper face of the panel. Each fastener is configured to selectively couple to a handle of a respective fishing pole to couple the respective fishing pole to the panel. A plurality of couplers is coupled to the panel. Each coupler is configured to couple to a respective cup to couple the respective cup to the panel.
