Reversible rod holder apparatus and method
A reversible rod holder apparatus and method consists of a frame with a front, a back, a top side, a bottom side, a left side and a right side. An attachment plate is connected with the back of the frame. A support is provided where the support and the attachment plate are removably connectable and a rod sleeve is connected with the front of the frame at an angle from the left side to the right side of the frame such that a rod placed in the rod sleeve is held at that angle.
Fishing rod holder and retainer
A fishing rod holder and retainer include a top plate that includes a main opening, and a retainer opening. A cylindrical tube extends downwardly at an angle away from the top plate. A rod retainer includes a retainer cable having a retainer clasp adjacent the retainer opening. A retainer channel is coupled to the top plate and aligned with the retainer opening and configured to extend downwardly to guide the retainer cable so that the cable extends down into the retainer channel. A biasing device is coupled to the retainer cable and configured to bias the retainer cable downwardly within the retainer channel.

Outrigger kit for fishing
This invention provides an outrigger assembly for fishing that can be quickly deployed from a portable bag about 1 meter long into a fully rigged outrigger in a selected length of 4 meters, 5 meters or 6 meters. Variable length is obtained by adding sections of telescoping pole. Quick deployment is obtained by using detachable line guides that are radially (or side) threadable in conjunction with a separate preassembled outrigger line loop for each deployed length. Different length outrigger line loop assemblies are color coded for quick identification. Stowed length and volume of the collapsed telescoping pole is minimized by the use of outrigger line guides that are removable from the outrigger pole. Threading and unthreading of an outrigger line loop without opening the loop is enabled by the radially threadable line guides. The invention also provides an outrigger holder having two sockets, one for the outrigger and one for a fishing pole.

ROTATING ROD HOLDER
An apparatus for stowing and/or transporting rod-shaped structures such that the rods are easily insertable into, and removable from, the rod holder when it is located underneath an overhead obstruction that would otherwise prevent insertion or removal of rods into the rod holder. The rod holder rotates away from the receiving structure to which it is attached by operation of a rotatable attachment between the rod holder and a base. The base comprises a latching mechanism to prevent the rod holder from rotating unless it is released using a latch release lever. The rod holder allows insertion of longer rods into the rod holder than would otherwise be possible using rod holders of the prior art. The rod holder increases ease of access to rods stored in the rod holder. An exemplary use case is the storage of fishing rods under a T-top on a fishing boat.
Protective device for fishing rods for use on fishing vessels
A fishing rod shield for use on a fishing vessel. The fishing rod shield protects fishing rods while also providing improved safety to the fishing vessel. The fishing rod shield includes a rod protector and a cover positioned over the rod protector. The rod protector includes a plurality of openings through which a fishing rod may be at least partially inserted and easily removed. The shield includes an anti-slip or other safety surface to provide improved safety on the fishing vessel.

Collapsible hard case for surfboards and other large objects
A protective case for large objects including a lock housing formed from a first section and a second section, both of the sections including at least one external subsection and at least one internal subsection configured to telescope inside the external subsection; and an extension lock comprising a lock housing and a compression lock, the lock housing including a screw-threaded channel, and the compression comprising at least one screw-threaded shaft with a compressive component on the interior end and a lock handle on the exterior end, the screw-threaded shaft configured to matingly engage with the screw-threaded channel of the lock housing; the compression lock configured to descend in the lock housing and compressingly lock the internal subsection in an extended position upon locking rotation of the compression lock; and the compression lock configure to ascend in the lock housing upon unlocking rotation of the cam latch.
Aautomatic fishing rod lifter that prevents unintentional injury
An automatic fishing rod lifter, including an upper arm, a lower arm, and at least one tension spring connecting the two; the upper arm and the lower arm are movably connected so that they are capable of folding and unfolding with respect to each other; a self-lock trigger mechanism is provided at the upper arm and the lower arm; also provided is a protective cover positioned above the tension spring; one end of the protective cover is movably connected with the lower arm, so that the protective cover can use said one end of the protective cover as a pivot point to flip. The protective cover increases safety of operation and thus reduces the risk of injury due to careless maneuver or insufficient folding strength applied to the upper arm and the lower arm. The automatic fishing rod lifter is suitable to be used by both newbies and veterans.
