A method includes receiving, by a computing device comprising a processor, a request for at least one service associated with an elevator system from a mobile device over a cellular network. The request is validated based on a determined location of the mobile device. In response to the validating indicating that the request is approved, at least one resource associated with the at least one service is scheduled. The scheduling of the at least one resource includes placement of an elevator car call.

The controller is configured to operate between a floor cancellation permit state and a floor cancellation restricted state, thereby respectively enabling and disabling the floor cancellation feature, and track at least one event associated with the floor cancellation restricted state.

The method also includes selecting a third landing graphical object from the plurality of graphical objects. The method also includes creating an anticipated trip graphical object, the anticipated trip graphical object indicating a trip from the third landing to the first landing. The method also includes selecting the anticipated trip graphical object to initiate a hall call and floor call from the third landing to the first landing.
