A stabilizer leg device with a stabilizer leg to be moved down-wards from an object so as to stabilize the object by bearing through a foot plate (7) on the ground. The device comprises a first engagement member (20) arranged coaxially to a horizontal axis on a part (19) fixed in relation to the object, and a shaft (12) having a first end provided with a second engagement member (21) and an opposite second end arranged to be influenced by movement of a second stabilizer leg member in relation to a first stabilizer leg member to make the shaft slide along the stabilizer leg under extension and retraction of the stabilizer leg so as to cause pivoting of the stabilizer leg by a mutual engagement of said engagement members (20, 21). Members (16, 17) guiding the shaft are designed to automatically unlock and lock, respectively, the stabilizer leg with respect to possibility to pivot about said horizontal axis by passing a predetermined position by the second stabilizer leg member upon retraction and extension of the stabilizer leg.

The device comprises a holder (8) fixed to the object and receiving and holding a first stabilizer leg member (9) vertically displaceable. A first power member (10) displaces the first stabilizer leg member in relation to the holder. A second power member (11) displaces a second stabilizer leg member (12), and thereby the footplate (7) at the end thereof, in relation to the first stabilizer leg member (9). A locking arrangement will automatically lock the first stabilizer leg member in relation to the holder against vertical movements with respect thereto when the second stabilizer leg member (12) reaches a given position when moving downwards and automatically transfer the locking arrangement into an unlocked state when retracting the second stabilizer leg member (12) beyond said position.

In a car body, a lower travelling body of a crawler crane includes a pair of left and right crawler frames, the car body connecting the crawler frames and supporting an upper slewing body, and a pair of car body weights are disposed on front and rear sides of the car body. The car body supporting device includes a supporting mechanism for movably supporting at least one of the paired car body weights, and a drive section for moving the car body weight supported by the supporting mechanism to thereby shift a center of gravity of the lower travelling body in a front and rear direction. The car body weight supporting device can improve postural stability.

When the actuator assembly is in the lifting position, the bottom surface of the ground pad engages the support surface and the actuator assembly applies an upward force on the chassis, and when the actuator assembly is in the retracted position, the actuator assembly lifts the ground pad such that the ground pad is not in contact with the support surface.
