The invention relates to an electrically powered industrial truck, in particular a narrow aisle forklift truck, comprising a battery box for housing a battery block, which box is open on at least one side for removing the battery block in the width direction of the vehicle and comprises on its top face a strut extending substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and at least one locking device for the battery block housed in a battery box, wherein the at least one locking device comprises a mount associated with the strut, a pivot shaft, which extends above the battery box in the width direction of the industrial truck and is pivotally held by the mount, and a pivot lever, which is carried by the pivot shaft and is pivotable between a locking position and a releasing position, wherein the pivot lever is designed, when in its locking position, to support the battery block in the width direction of the vehicle and, when in its releasing position, to release the battery block in the width direction of the vehicle.

Battery Replacement Apparatus

A battery replacement apparatus includes: a battery replacement station where removal of a first battery from the electrically powered vehicle and attachment of a second battery to the electrically powered vehicle are performed; a storage that stores the second battery, and a storage space that is provided at a position separate from the storage and stores the first battery.

BATTERY TRANSFER APPARATUS

A battery transfer apparatus for loading/unloading batteries from materials handling vehicles includes a mobile unit and a battery stand. The mobile unit is used to transport batteries into/out of materials handling vehicles and includes load handling structure comprising at least one roller, which is used to roll batteries into/out of materials handling vehicles. A top wall of the battery stand includes at least one opening and support structure of the battery stand engages a surface so as to support the battery stand thereon. The battery stand is engaged by the mobile unit during battery transfer operations by inserting the roller(s) up through the opening(s) in the top wall of the battery stand such that the roller(s) can engage the battery through the opening(s). The battery stand is capable of storing the battery while the battery is out of the materials handling vehicle.

The charging station includes an automated loader including a power supply support. The automated loader is arranged to move vertically and horizontally for exchanging and transporting a replaceable power supply between the charging rack and the power supply compartment of the container handling vehicle.

Disclosed is a mounting platform, comprising: a tray and a fixed plate, the tray is used for carrying a battery, and the tray is provided on the fixed plate and can move horizontally in a first direction relative to the fixed plate; a first guide fork is provided on one side of the fixed plate and the first guide fork can move horizontally in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; a second guide fork is provided on one side of the tray, and the second guide fork can move horizontally in the second direction. Further provided is a control method, which is used for controlling the mounting platform above. The mounting platform can fit various models of vehicle batteries by providing the first guide fork and the second guide fork which can move in the second direction, thereby achieving universality of a battery replacement station.
