20180178233 · 2018-06-28 · ·

A dispenser for liquid to pasty substances, has a dispenser head and a dispenser body. The dispenser head is movable in a displacement direction perpendicular to the horizontal bearing plane between an extended position and a retracted position for carrying out a pumping movement, the dispenser head can rotate relative to the dispenser body in such a way that the dispenser mouth moves in a horizontal plane when the dispenser head is rotated. In order to provide an advantageous design of dispenser of the type in question, the dispenser has a tamper-proofing part which is secured to two parts of the dispenser which can rotate relative to each other, at one of the parts by a rupturable material bridge, and the material bridge can be ruptured in the course of a rotation of the dispenser head.

A dispenser for liquid to pasty substances has a dispenser head and a dispenser body. The dispenser head is movable relative to the dispenser body in a displacement direction for carrying out a pumping movement and is also rotatable relative to the dispenser body. The dispenser has a pump chamber having an inlet valve and an outlet valve. A dispensing tube is provided and is divided into two portions which can move relative to each other and which, as a result, can be moved into a closed position in which the substance cannot be dispensed and into an open position in which the substance can be dispensed. The portions, in order to change between the closed position and the open position, can be moved relative to each other without a relative movement in the displacement direction.

Piston pump with locking pistons
09999896 · 2018-06-19 · ·

A piston pump with an improved arrangement by which a piston-forming element is movable relative to a piston chamber-forming element between locked and unlocked positions. The piston chamber-forming body has a collar member having an inner guide tube coaxially about an axis with a lug member extending radially inwardly therefrom and the piston-forming element has a slide tube coaxially radially inwardly of the collar member with the slide tube carrying motion control features for interaction and engagement with the lug member whereby relative axial and rotational movement of the piston-forming element relative to the piston chamber-forming body provides for the adoption of positions in which the pump is operable to dispense fluid and positions in which the pump is inoperative.

Down-lock bellows pump

An all-polymer reciprocating pump (100) is contemplated. The pump body (160) receives a sliding insert (170) that may be locked in a down position to minimize the extension and profile of the actuator (120) while the pump (100) is not in use (e.g., for purposes of shipping in e-commerce). Projections (171) slide within guides (181) formed on an insert housing (180). Even in this down locked position, minimal compression is applied to the biasing members (130) so as to avoid fatigue, wear, and/or failure of the plastic components.

Mechanism to prevent actuator of a pump dispenser to prematurely open and leak

The present invention is directed to a dispensing pump for dispensing material from a container having a chaplet comprising a rotating ring and a stationary ring, wherein the rotating ring is connected to an actuator and the stationary ring is connected to an actuator assembly; a rotating ring affixed to the actuator wherein the rotating ring comprises a cut-out arc having an angle between about 45 degrees to about 345 degrees, wherein the remaining portion of the rotating ring is an uncut portion; a stationary ring attached to the actuator assembly a key protruding from the stationary ring which fits along the cut-out arc of the rotating ring; wherein the actuator rotates with the rotating ring until the uncut portion of the rotating ring is stopped by the key wherein the actuator starts to unscrew from the rotating ring until the actuator is released.

Dispensing device having a retractable head

A dispenser device for a container containing a product to be dispensed, the device comprising a body for connecting to the container and presenting a chamber that is open at a bottom end of the body and in which a pump is arranged, connected to a top dispenser head. The dispenser device also comprises a driver that is suitable for being moved so as to cause the dispenser head to move between a storage position in which the dispenser head is substantially retracted inside the body, and a dispensing position in which the dispenser head projects beyond a top end of the body. The dispenser device further comprises a sealing diaphragm that defines a top end of the chamber and that presents a movable end that is connected to the pump, and a stationary end that is suitable for being connected to the container.

MOUTHWASH BOTTLE WITH A PUMP, A TOOTHBRUSH HOLDER AND AN INSERTABLE CUP
20170188756 · 2017-07-06 ·

A mouthwash dispensing system including a bottle having a base and a top portion. The mouthwash dispensing system includes a pump configured to draw mouthwash out from within the bottle, the pump having a pump neck extending into the bottle and a pump nozzle for guiding the mouthwash out of the bottle. The mouthwash dispensing system further includes a cavity within the top portion and positioned below the pump nozzle, the cavity configured to receive a cup, such that the pump draws the mouthwash out of the bottle and into the cup. The mouthwash dispensing system further includes a toothbrush holder configured to rotate about the pump neck and move between a storage position and a use position, the toothbrush holder limiting movement of the cup within the cavity in the storage position, and holding a toothbrush in the use position.

Liquid soap dispenser

A liquid soap dispenser includes a cap adapted to be mounted onto a container. A cylinder longitudinally and rotatably extends through the cap. A tube is longitudinally connected to a lower end of the cylinder. A discharge tube is partially longitudinally received in the cylinder. The discharge tube has a lower end received in the cylinder and abutting against an inner periphery of the cylinder and is reciprocally moved relative to the cylinder. A push-button is mounted onto a top of the discharge tube. A negative pressure relative to the space in the container is intermittently formed in the cylinder such that the liquid soap in the container will sequentially pass through the tube, the discharge tube and the push-button when the push-button is reciprocally pressed and the piston of the discharge tube is reciprocally moved relative to the cylinder.

Pump dispenser and containers

A pump dispenser comprising a container having a neck (6) to which the pump is attached. A pump body (1) has an outward flange (91) through which it is supported on the edge of the container neck (6). A body/neck rotation stop mechanism (64,7) is provided by an interlock engagement between the pump body and the container neck, and has widely-spaced interlock projections (64) on the container neck (6), e.g. one or two projections, each having a circumferentially-directed abutment face (642). A series of spaced interlock teeth (71) projects down from the outward flange (91) of the pump body and these have respective abutment faces (711) to engage the neck projections and limit relative rotation of the pump body and neck. This can assure reliable action of a plunger-locking mechanism of the dispenser.
