METHOD FOR CORRECTING AN AXIAL POSITION OF A WORKPIECE SUPPORT
A method of correcting an axial position of a workpiece support (1) used for removing material from a dental workpiece (2) which is held by the workpiece support (1) and is rotated together with the workpiece support (1) about a drive rotation axis (3) when material is being removed. The workpiece support (1) has at least two workpiece support parts (4, 5, 6) which can be separated from each other and connected to each other. One of the workpiece support parts (4, 5) has at least one compensation region (7) with a material projection (8) for introducing a compensation surface (9) by removing material, and the other workpiece support part (6) has a seating surface (10) for connecting to the compensation surface (9) in a form fitting manner.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool has: a main shaft head that supports the main shaft; a main shaft head support part which supports the main shaft head such that the main shaft head can rotate around a first axis that extends perpendicular to the main shaft axis of rotation; a first rotary feed shaft device which is provided in the main shaft head support part, and rotates and feeds the main shaft head around the first axis; a saddle which supports the main shaft head support part such that the main shaft head support part can rotate around a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis and inclined with respect to the vertical direction; and a second rotary feed shaft device which is provided in the saddle, and rotates and feeds the main shaft head support part around a second axis of rotation.
Machining center
A machining center includes a machine bed, a work table unit, a sliding unit, a first driving unit, a conveying member, a second driving unit and a loading seat. The machine bed has a machining zone and a transferring zone. The first driving unit is operable for driving the conveying member to move along a conveying axis which extends in a first direction, thereby driving the loading seat to move along first adjusting axes which extend in the first direction between the transferring and machining zones. The second driving unit is operable for driving the loading seat to move along second adjusting axes which extend in a second direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction and which is substantially vertical.
Direct-drive two-axis machining head
A direct-drive two-axis machining head includes a head-drive unit and a shaft-drive unit. The head-drive unit includes a head-installing interface, a first motor, an axis-A supporter, and a first brake mounted at an outermost rim of either a first motor seat or a stator of the first motor for braking the axis-A supporter. The shaft-drive unit further includes an axis-A-installing interface, a second motor, a shaft connector, and a second brake mounted at an outermost rim of a second motor seat of the second motor for braking the shaft connector. The head-drive unit further includes a fixation sheet metal and a pipeline shield. The fixation sheet metal connects the rotor seat. One end of the pipeline shield connects the fixation sheet metal, while another end thereof connects the head-installing interface so as to shield a plurality of pipelines.
Tilt device for machine tool
A tilt device includes: a drive motor that provides a drive force for swinging a tilt member; an auxiliary cylinder coupled to the tilt member to assist swing of the tilt member by the drive motor; and a control device that performs drive control of the drive motor and the auxiliary cylinder. In the movable range of the tilt member, a moment about the swing axis generated in the tilt member by the gravitational force is always directed to only one side in the rotational direction, and an assistive moment about the swing axis provided to the tilt member by a cylinder pressure is always directed to only the other side in the rotational direction. The control device fluctuates the cylinder pressure such that the assistive moment is less than the moment generated in the tilt member by the gravitational force.
FLUID STREAM CATCHER MOUNTING SYSTEM
A multifunctional end effector includes a support structure configured to be carried by a robotic system and at least two of a fluid stream cutting system, a spindle system and/or a scanning system, each mounted to the support structure. Also described is a fluid stream cutting system having a plurality of fluid stream catchers selectively mountable to the fluid stream system and a mounting arrangement for mounting each fluid stream catcher to the fluid stream cutting system.
Machine tool
A machine tool includes: a revolving-type turret including a plurality of grips provided along a circumferential direction thereof, each of the plurality of grips being configured to hold the tool attached to a spindle; a first rotary shaft configured to rotate about a swing axis of the turret; a second rotary shaft extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first rotary shafts, and configured to rotate the turret about a revolving axis; a motor configured to rotate the first rotary shaft; a power transmission unit including a first gear connected to the first rotary shafts and a second gear connected to the second rotary shaft, the second gear being configured to be meshed with the first gear; and a rotation prohibition unit configured to, when swinging the turret, prohibit rotation of the second rotary shaft in order to swing the second rotary shaft about the first rotary shaft.
Turning system and method of use
A turning system allows for slow revolution of a shaft at variable angles so that the work pieces such as cup can be operated on. The work piece could be attached by a hollow cylinder that magnetically attaches to the shaft of the system by placing the hollow cylinder on the shaft. As the shaft enter it contacts an attachment device such as a magnet to hold the work piece on the shaft.
Multi-functional end effector with integrated waterjet, milling spindle system and/or scanning sensor, and a fluid stream catcher mounting system
DIRECT-DRIVE TWO-AXIS MACHINING HEAD
A direct-drive two-axis machining head includes a head-drive unit and a shaft-drive unit. The head-drive unit includes a head-installing interface, a first motor, an axis-A supporter, and a first braking module mounted at an outermost rim of either a first motor seat or a stator of the first motor for braking the axis-A supporter. The shaft-drive unit further includes an axis-A-installing interface, a second motor, a shaft connector, and a second braking module mounted at an outermost rim of a second motor seat of the second motor for braking the shaft connector.
