Tyre for vehicle wheels
A tyre for vehicle wheels comprises a tread band on which a radially external tread surface and a tread pattern are defined; the tread band comprising: a central region of the tread band, extending circumferentially about an equatorial plane of the tyre over at least 30% of an effective width of the tread band; a first and a second shoulder region extending, on opposite sides of the central region, each over at least 20% of the effective width of the tread band; the tread pattern, on the first and second shoulder regions and the central region, comprises transverse grooves comprising a bottom and a pair of opposed lateral walls. These lateral walls extending from the bottom towards the tread surface with a first inclination, and joining to the tread surface by chamfers having a second inclination greater than the first inclination relative to the radial direction.
Pneumatic Tire
Disclosed is a pneumatic tire including: in a tread surface of a tread portion, a pair of main grooves (center main groove and shoulder main groove) arranged side by side in a tire lateral direction and extending in a tire circumferential direction; land portions (middle land portion) defined by the main grooves; a plurality of lug grooves arranged side by side in the tire circumferential direction and bent and folded back, each of the lug grooves including one end communicating with the shoulder main groove, the other end terminating within the middle land portion, and a bending point in a middle of a path from one end to the other end; and sipes extending across the lug grooves, at least one side of the sipe with respect to the lug groove being formed in a zigzag shape.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes: main grooves in a tread, extending in a circumferential direction in alignment in a lateral direction, defining a center land on an equatorial plane and middle lands on outer sides in the lateral direction; a sipe formed in the center land communicating with a center main groove and terminating within the center land, the sipe bending halfway through its length; a circumferential narrow groove in each of the middle lands dividing the middle lands into a rib-shaped middle inner land and a middle outer land; and lug grooves formed in the middle outer land in alignment in the circumferential direction, communicating with a shoulder main groove and the circumferential narrow groove and dividing the middle outer land into blocks. A width d1 of the middle inner land and a groove width d2 of the circumferential narrow groove satisfy a relationship of 0.1≤d2/d1≤0.4.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire is provided with tread rubber that forms a contact patch; and a belt layer which is disposed toward the interior in a tire radial direction from the tread rubber. A shoulder lug portion is provided with a narrow groove that partitions the shoulder lug portion into a main body portion and into a sacrificial portion. A plurality of concavities are open toward both the contact patch at the main body portion and the groove side face, wherein innermost ends in the tire width direction of the respective concavities are disposed so as to be at the same location in the tire width direction as an outermost end in the tire width direction of the belt layer or are arranged toward the exterior in the tire width direction from the outermost end in the tire width direction of the belt layer.
Tire
A tire includes circumferential main grooves, lug grooves, and land portions defined by the circumferential main grooves and the lug grooves. The circumferential main grooves extend in a circumferential direction. The lug grooves extend in a width direction, include shoulder and center lug grooves, and have an end opening to a circumferential main groove. Narrow shallow grooves in center and shoulder land portions have an end opening to a circumferential main groove and have a groove depth of 10-40% of a circumferential main groove depth. The shoulder lug grooves are on an outer side of a shoulder main groove in the width direction and have an end opening to the shoulder main groove. The center lug grooves are between the center and shoulder main grooves, have both ends opening to circumferential main grooves, and have a minimum width wider than a minimum width of the shoulder lug groove.
Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire, a land portion is formed in a tread surface of a tread portion on an outermost side in a tire lateral direction by a circumferential groove extending in a tire circumferential direction, and a ground contact edge is present in the land portion. The land portion includes a plurality of lug grooves provided in the tire circumferential direction and intersecting the ground contact edge, and an intersecting narrow groove provided outward of the ground contact edge in the tire lateral direction and intersecting a lug groove of the plurality of lug grooves.
TIRE
A tire includes a tread surface portion with inclined grooves, 2ND longitudinal grooves, and shoulder longitudinal grooves; and an indicator portion that indicates a rotation direction of the tire in which a vehicle travels forward. The inclined groove gradually extends forward in the rotation direction toward a tire equator from the outside in the tire width direction. A front surface among inner surfaces defining the inclined groove includes a first side surface with an inner end portion to which the 2ND longitudinal groove is open, a second side surface positioned closer to an inside than the first side surface and of which an outer end portion is positioned closer to a rear side than the inner end portion of the first side surface, and a stepped surface that connects an inner edge of the first side surface to an outer edge of the second side surface and faces the outside.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: a rib defined by a circumferential main groove; circumferential sipes formed in the rib at intervals in the circumferential direction; rib edge sipes formed in the rib aligning in the circumferential direction, each of the rib edge sipes terminating in the rib opening to the circumferential main groove; and first and second narrow grooves extending in the circumferential direction, each of the first and second narrow grooves having a groove depth shallower than depths of the circumferential sipes and the rib edge sipes, the first narrow grooves having ends connected to one of the circumferential sipes adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction and the second narrow grooves each including an inner connecting portion connected to one of the first narrow shallow grooves and including an outer connecting portion connected to one of the rib edge sipes.
Pneumatic Tire
In a tread pattern of a tire, a main groove side of a shoulder lug groove in a side of a first circumferential main groove inclines with respect to the width direction. In each of first intermediate lug grooves and inner lug grooves, a direction from one side toward the other side in the width direction is inclined to a side identical to a side to which the main groove side is inclined. The first intermediate lug grooves overlap with extension lines of each of the shoulder lug grooves extending from a closed end of each of the shoulder lug grooves along an inclination direction of the main groove side toward each of closed ends of the inner lug grooves. A second intermediate lug groove extends between two of the extension lines adjacent in the circumferential direction, in a direction along the extension lines.
