A seat assembly includes a cushion motor linked to a pinion gear for providing concentric rotation of a linkage through rotational engagement of the pinion gear with a sector gear. The seat assembly includes a seat back pivotally coupled to a seat cushion and a seat base adapted for mounting the seat assembly within an automotive vehicle. The linkage includes a front link and a rear link extending between the seat cushion and the seat base, wherein pivoting of the linkage moves the seat assembly between a plurality of positions. A recliner mechanism is operatively coupled to the front link for selectively allowing pivoting thereof, and the sector gear is fixed to the front link. Actuation of the cushion motor when the recliner mechanism is unlocked rotates the pinion gear, causing the sector gear to rotate for pivoting the linkage to move the seat assembly between the plurality of positions.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat includes a back frame connected to a base member so as to be able to rotate around a first rotation shaft; a rotation locking mechanism; a cushion frame connected to the back frame so as to be able to rotate around a second rotation shaft, and in which a long hole is formed; a link member connected to the base member so as to be able to rotate around a third rotation shaft; a fourth rotation shaft fixed to the link member and inserted in the long hole so as to be able to move relatively and so as to be able to rotate; and movement restricting portion provided between the fourth rotation shaft and an inner surface of the long hole, and that restricts movement of the fourth rotation shaft from one end portion of the long hole toward another end portion side.

Vehicle seating

Vehicle seating, selectively deployable at the rear of a vehicle for providing temporary outdoor seating. The seating is moveable between a first, stowed position in which the seating surface is locatable on or within a load floor of the vehicle and a second, deployed position in which support legs and a seating surface connected thereto are pivoted up and out of the load floor so that the seating surface overlaps with or extends beyond a rearmost edge of the vehicle and an engaging member engages the support surface to provide load bearing support for the seating surface.

Power seat assembly

A seat assembly is provided and may include a base assembly, a first arm, a seat bottom assembly, a second arm, and an adjustment arm. The base assembly may be mounted to a vehicle. The first arm may be rotatably coupled to the base assembly and may be operable to rotate relative to the base assembly about a first axis of rotation. The seat bottom assembly may be rotatably coupled to the first arm and may be operable to rotate relative to the first arm about a second axis of rotation. The second arm may be rotatably coupled to the seat bottom assembly and may be operable to rotate relative to the seat bottom assembly about a third axis of rotation. The adjustment arm may include an adjustment mechanism, and may be rotatably coupled to the second arm and rotatably coupled to the base assembly. The adjustment mechanism may be operable to rotate the adjustment arm relative to the base assembly about a fourth axis of rotation.

CONVEYANCE SEAT

A conveyance seat accommodable in a recess of a floor includes: a seat cushion; a front leg portion which supports a front lower portion of the seat cushion and of which one end is rotatably fixed at the front lower portion of the seat cushion and the other end is detachably fixed at a position in front of the recess; a rear leg portion which supports a rear lower portion of the seat cushion and of which one end is rotatably fixed at the rear lower portion of the seat cushion and the other end is rotatably fixed to the floor inside the recess; and an arm portion of which one end is rotatably fixed to the rear leg portion and the other end is fixable to the floor at a position behind the other end of the rear leg portion.

In a rear seat having a configuration which, in the state that a seat cushion is folded forward with a seat back flattened on the seat cushion side, makes an upward back surface of the seat back become almost the same height with a floor surface of a cargo room, to avoid giving a restriction and hurt in amenity to a passenger seated on the seat cushion in the space on which feet of are put, the present invention provides a vehicle seat to which parallel link mechanism portions are equipped that connect the seat cushion to a floor surface under the seat cushion of the vehicle, and a mechanism is provided to fold the seat cushion forward with the posture of the seat back held by the parallel link mechanisms in the state that the seat back is flattened to the seat cushion side.

AUXILIARY SEAT STORAGE STRUCTURE

A structure of an auxiliary seat disposed in a second row in a vehicle is provided. The auxiliary seat storage structure includes an auxiliary seat that is disposed between a pair of exterior seats and has a seat back rotatably coupled to a seat cushion by a recliner and a rail that is installed in a vehicle width direction. The auxiliary seat is configured to slide into an internal cavity at a lower end of the exterior seat. The auxiliary seat slides along the rail when the auxiliary seat is folded and simultaneously adjusted downward and is stored in a lower cavity of the exterior seat. A passageway cavity is maximized, the number of operating steps are minimized and the auxiliary seat are stored regardless of whether an occupant is seated on the exterior seat.
