A wiper device including a wiper member that includes a wiper arm to which a wiper blade is coupled, a base end portion of the wiper arm being supported by a support section provided at a vehicle, and the wiper member being configured to of undergo displacement relative to the vehicle, a drive wheel that is rotatably supported by the wiper member at a position of the wiper member which is separated from the support section, and that rolls across a running face provided at the vehicle so as to displace the wiper member relative to the vehicle, and a motor that is supported by the wiper member so as to undergo displacement together with the wiper member, and that drives rotation of the drive wheel.

A front structure of a vehicle is provided and includes a first cowl panel that extends in a panel shape in a width direction of the vehicle, having a lower end coupled to an upper end of a dash panel, having an upper end bending toward a front of the vehicle and extending up to behind a lower end of a front windshield glass. A vehicle windshield wiper assembly includes a filter member. The filter member is mounted to a radially inwardly facing surface of an upper area of a cylindrically shaped portion of a water diverting member below portions of a support panel above a wiper drive mechanism. The filter member encircles a shaft housing of the wiper drive mechanism and is shaped and dimensioned to allow flow of water from a first shaft opening in the support panel therethrough and restrict flow of debris from the first shaft opening therethrough.

A vehicular wiper device is provided with a snowfall determination unit that determines whether a predetermined snowfall condition is satisfied.
