Slider with ergonomic features
A slider for a closure assembly of a bag. The slider has a top wall and a pair of wings extending from the top wall. A first wing of the pair of wings includes a first finger pad and a surrounding lip, and a second wing of the pair of wings includes a second finger pad and a surrounding lip. The first and second finger pads each have a major axis dimension that is larger than a minor axis dimension to provide a slider with an improved ergonomic feel.
Reclosable pouch having a clicking closure device
A reclosable pouch includes a first bag wall. A second bag wall opposing the first bag wall is joined to the first bag wall to form an interior of the pouch with an opening to the interior. A male closure element coupled to one of the bag walls defines a plurality of deformed segments and a plurality of normal segments along a length thereof. The plurality of deformed segments alternate with the plurality of normal segments, with (i) first transitions on one side of the male closure element and (ii) second transitions on another side of the male closure element. A female closure element coupled to the other bag wall engages with the male closure element to seal the opening of the pouch, with the deformed segments of the male closure element generating a sound when the female closure element engages with the male closure element.
MULTIPLE ZIPPER SLIDER BAG
A storage bag includes first and second zipper profiles provided adjacent to an opening to the interior of the bag. The first and second zipper profiles are provided with opposing closure elements that respectively interlock with each other. The storage bag further includes first and second isolation sections between the first and second zipper profiles and a slider to occlude and to de-occlude the closure elements of the first and second zipper profiles. The slider includes a first zipper profile opening member and a support member with a second zipper profile opening member that is (i) disposed between the first and second isolation sections, and (ii) separate and distinct from the first zipper profile opening member.
RECLOSEABLE ZIPPER CLOSURE ARRANGEMENT, RECLOSEABLE POUCHES, AND METHODS
A recloseable zipper closure arrangement useable in a recloseable plastic bag includes a first elongate base strip having a front side and an opposite back side; and a first continuous profile member on the front side of the first elongate base strip; the first continuous profile member having a clicking sensory indicator having a central rib with a continuous peak; and a second continuous profile member on the front side of the first elongate base strip and spaced from the first profile member; the second continuous profile member may have optionally a clicking sensory indicator having a central rib with a continuous peak.
Multiple zipper slider bag
A storage bag comprising first and second zipper profiles provided adjacent to an opening to the interior of the bag. The first and second zipper profiles are provided with opposing closure elements that respectively interlock with each other. The storage bag further includes first and second isolation sections between the first and second zipper profiles and a slider to occlude and to de-occlude the closure elements of the first and second zipper profiles. The slider includes a first zipper profile opening member and a support member with a second zipper profile opening member that is (i) disposed between the first and second isolation sections, and (ii) separate and distinct from the first zipper profile opening member.
Closure mechanism with multiple frequency feedback
A closure mechanism includes a first elongate closure member having a series of spaced features disposed along an entire length of the first elongate closure member. A second elongate closure member includes a series of spaced features disposed along an entire length of the second elongate closure member. The second elongate closure member sealingly engages the first elongate closure member. A slider interacts with (i) the series of spaced features on the first elongate closure member to produce a first feedback at a first frequency, and (ii) the series of spaced features on the second elongate closure member to produce a second feedback at a second frequency. The first feedback at the first frequency differs from the second feedback at the second frequency.
Bag having a concealed opening
Sachet comprising: a first and a second wall (10, 20), a closure assembly (3) comprising a first and a second support web (30, 32) that are connected to the first and the second wall (10, 20), respectively, and each have a closure element (34), the first support web (30) being connected discontinuously along its length to the first wall (10) of the sachet (1) so as to form at least one passage (40) between this first support web (30) and the first wall (10) of the sachet (1) from the outside of the sachet (1), said passage (40) allowing local deformation of the first support web (30) for modifying the relative local orientation of the closure elements (34) while the walls (10, 20) are being moved apart and making it easier to separate the closure elements (34).
HINGED SLIDER FOR A CLOSURE ASSEMBLY
A hinged slider for a closure assembly of a bag includes a top wall and a pair of legs extending from the top wall. A first leg and a second leg of the pair each includes a top end attached to the top wall and a bottom end opposing the top end. A pair of wings is hingedly attached to the pair of legs. A first wing and a second wing of the pair of wings is each hingedly attached to the bottom end of the first leg and second leg, respectively, as a hinge mechanism. The first wing and the second wing hinge downwardly in order to install the slider onto the closure assembly.
Storage bag with features to facilitate sealing and unsealing of the bag
A storage bag includes first and second side surfaces that form an interior of the bag with an opening to the interior. A first closure profile connected to the first side surface and positioned adjacent to the opening of the bag has a top edge and includes an interlocking member that extends between the first and second sides. A second closure profile connected to the second side surface and positioned adjacent to the opening of the bag has a top edge and includes an interlocking member. A lip extends between the interlocking member and the top edges of the first and second closure profiles. The lip is a single, continuous web having certain dimensions from the interlocking member to the top edges of the first and second closure profiles.

A hinged slider for a closure assembly of a bag includes a top wall and a pair of legs extending from the top wall. A first leg and a second leg of the pair each includes a top end attached to the top wall and a bottom end opposing the top end. A pair of wings is hingedly attached to the pair of legs. A first wing and a second wing of the pair of wings is each hingedly attached to the bottom end of the first leg and second leg, respectively, to hinge upwardly. The first wing and the second wing hinge upwardly in order to install the slider onto the closure assembly.
