The filling of value documents cassettes involves a cassette receiving device for receiving a value document cassette and a gripping device for transporting a value document stack from a value document container into the value document cassette. The apparatus optionally has a formatting device for the automatic alignment of a value document stack removed from the value document container before the stack is inserted in the value document cassette. A finger element is attached to the transport device of the gripping device, and besides the gripping device, the finger element is guided into the value document cassette before the value documents are inserted.

A handling system (100) for handling stackable flat elements, in particular carton elements. The system (100) includes a supporting table (102) on which at least an edge portion (303) of a stack (101) of flat elements is supportable, a clamping device (103) configured for clamping a first part (113) of the edge portion of the stack (101) to the supporting table (102), and a lifting device (104) configured for lifting a second part (114) of the stack (101) from the supporting table (102). The lifting device (104) and the clamping device (103) are arranged to the supporting table (102) such that the stack (101) is bendable by clamping the first part (113) of the stack (101) onto the supporting table (102) by the clamping device (103) and lifting the second part (114) of the stack (101) from the supporting table (102) by the lifting device (104) at the same time such that the stack (101) is bent around a bending axis (109), wherein the bending axis (109) extends within a plane parallel to a supporting plane (112) of the supporting surface (111).

An automated system for transferring articles from a container. An item transfer system includes retainers configured to secure a first tray and a second tray, a movable paddle assembly, a frame, and a plurality of actuators. The system is configured to transfer articles from the first tray to the second tray by an automated process including securing the articles within the first tray with the paddle assembly, rotating the frame by approximately 90 to 100, moving the paddle assembly in a series of linear translations to remove the items from the first tray and place the items into the second tray, rotating the frame back to its initial orientation, and releasing the items into the second tray.

A handling device comprises a gripping unit which is movable in three dimensions and which is specified for receiving the stack of products disposed in a receiving region, for moving the stack, and for depositing the stack in a depositing region. The gripping unit comprises at least one upper holding element for holding down an upper side of the received stack, and at least one lower holding element for supporting a lower side, opposite the upper side, of the received stack.

An apparatus for separating battery plates comprising a work surface for receiving a stack of battery plates, and an alignment mechanism for aligning the battery plates on the work surface. The work surface is movable between a first position in which it is angled with respect to a horizontal plane and a second position in which it is substantially aligned with the horizontal plane. When the work surface moves between the first and second position adjacent battery plates of the stack are displaced relative to each other.

A folding box stack transferring apparatus in a packaging machine has a gripping apparatus which is arranged on an adjustable manipulator. The gripping apparatus has at least two gripping jaws which can be moved toward one another in a clamping direction and between which the folding box stack can be clamped. In addition, a suction apparatus is provided which can be adjusted by means of an adjusting apparatus in such a way that the suction apparatus can be brought selectively into or out of contact with the surface of the folding box stack. In the case of the transfer of a folding box stack, the suction apparatus is brought into contact with the surface of the folding box stack, and the suction apparatus is activated at least temporarily during the transfer of the folding box stack.

An apparatus for separating battery plates includes a work surface for receiving a stack of battery plates, and an alignment mechanism for aligning the battery plates on the work surface. The work surface is movable between a first position in which it is angled with respect to a horizontal plane and a second position in which it is substantially aligned with the horizontal plane. When the work surface moves between the first and second position adjacent battery plates of the stack are displaced relative to each other.

Provided is a pile preparation unit for changing a first pallet with a second pallet, the pallets for supporting a pile of sheets with a first end and second end where the pallet has a support side, supporting the pile of sheets at the first end and an opposite base side. The pile preparation unit may include a rotation unit configured with an infeed opening for receiving a pallet with a pile of sheets. The rotation unit is configured with a rotating structure to rotate a lift unit about a rotational axis. The lift unit may be configured with a lift structure fixed to the rotating structure and has a lift plate movable along the lift structure to engage with the second end of the pile of sheets and to move and position the pile of sheets transverse, relative to the rotational axis, providing a portal for changing a pallet.

A bag conveyance method includes the steps of: causing a holding member to hold a bag bundle including a plurality of bags; delivering the bag bundle in a standing posture from the holding member to a delivery unit; rotating the delivery unit in such a manner that a posture of the bag bundle held by the delivery unit is changed from the standing posture to a lying posture; and conveying the bag bundle in the lying posture from the delivery unit to a supply unit.

A portioning system for portioning stackable flat carton elements in a stack (101) for further processing. A feeder device (105) includes a lifting platform (106) and a pushing platform (107), wherein the feeder device (105) is movable along a linear path (108) for pushing the stack (101) to a delivery position. The feeder device (105) is further movable along a lifting direction (110) having at least a component parallel to the gravity direction. The feeder device (105) is configured such that the lifting platform (106) is movable partially below the flat elements defining the stack (101) such that an edge portion (111) of the stack (101) is arranged on the lifting platform (106) for being liftable by the lifting platform (106). The feeder device (105) is further configured such that the stack (101) is pushable by the pushing platform (107) along the linear path (108) until the stack (101) is arranged at the delivery position.
