Gas downcomer pipe, installation member and desulfurization apparatus
There are provided a downcomer pipe that can achieve suppression of accumulation of deposits in use and simplification of operation when being installed into a partition wall, an installation member and a desulfurization apparatus. The downcomer pipe comprises a pipe-shaped member and an installation member for installing the pipe-shaped member into the partition wall. The installation member includes a pipe-shaped part whose inner wall is to be brought into contact with the outer wall of the pipe-shaped member and a protruding part arranged on the outer wall of the pipe-shaped part, the pipe-shaped part and the protruding part constituting an integrated member.
Method of safely emitting high-temperature exhaust gas for offshore platform, and cooling and purification device
A process for discharging high-temperature flue gas safely from an ocean platform includes discharging the gas from combustion facilities into a main body of a cooling and cleaning device through an exhaust pipe, while sea water is injected into the main body. The injected water passes through a water distributor located at an upper part, and the scrubbing sea water is sprayed downwards. The high-temperature flue gas enters into a lower part, and the gas is scrubbed by the sprayed sea water to be low-temperature clean flue gas. The low-temperature clean flue gas passes through the water distributor and a mist eliminator, and is discharged into atmosphere through an outlet at a top of the main body. The sea water is collected to a liquid pool located at a lower part of the main body and discharged into the ocean. A cooling and cleaning device is also disclosed.
FLUID DELIVERY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MODIFYING FLUID DELIVERY APPARATUS
A fluid delivery apparatus to deliver a slurry liquid to be brought into contact with exhaust gas discharged from a combustion device to a plurality of delivery destinations comprises: a first delivery line for delivering the slurry liquid from a delivery source to a first delivery destination; a return line, branching off from the first delivery line at a first bifurcation part, for returning the slurry liquid to the delivery source; a second delivery line, branching off from the return line at a second bifurcation part, for delivering the slurry liquid to a second delivery destination different from the first delivery destination; and a delivery destination switching device configured to able to switch a delivery destination of the slurry liquid flowing on an upstream side of the second bifurcation part in the return line to a downstream side of the second bifurcation part in the return line.
Crossflow scrubbing method and apparatus to produce a product such as potassium thiosulfate or ammonium thiosulfate
A method and a facility for wet-scrubbing sulfur dioxide to produce, for example, potassium thiosulfate or ammonium thiosulfate. The facility includes a multi-section vessel having multiple horizontally disposed stages where a preceding stage passes partially-scrubbed waste gas to a succeeding stage. Each stage has a scrubber mechanism to scrub waste gas with circulating fluid that successively reduces waste gas concentration before atmospheric discharge. The scrubber mechanism may include a packing to facilitate absorption of waste gas by the fluid, a sump disposed at the output of the stage to receive fluid as it drains from the packing, and a circulation pump to circulate fluid from the sump to its packing and to cascade at least a portion of the fluid back to a preceding stage. A portion of the fluid is extracted from the facility and reacted in a reaction vessel with a cation to produce ammonium thiosulfate or potassium thiosulfate.
NOZZLE LANCE, COMBUSTION PLANT AND METHOD FOR EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT
A nozzle lance for exhaust gas treatment, a combustion plant with nozzle lances for exhaust gas treatment and a method for exhaust gas treatment in a combustion plant are proposed, wherein an admixing fluid is admixed to the active fluid in the nozzle lance and atomized via three nozzles.
Method And Installation For The Reduction Of Sulphur Oxides In Exhaust Gas From Marine Diesel Engines
Methods and installations for treatment of exhaust gases from marine diesel engines, in particular for reduction of the sulphur oxides (SO.sub.x) in such gases, where the reaction products resulting from the mixing of an alkaline aerosol with the exhaust gases are separated-out by means of one or more rotating centrifugal separator rotors (20) of the kind comprising a stack of narrowly spaced separation discs (22).
Apparatus and calculating method of pH
A human load of regularly measuring a pH of a position 4 meters from a discharge point during a term of a commissioning of a ship with a scrubber apparatus is reduced. Provided is an apparatus provided inside a ship having a scrubber, including a first pH measuring instrument which measures a pH value of washing water discharged from the scrubber to outboard, a second pH measuring instrument which measures a pH value of washing water supplied from outboard to the scrubber, and a calculating unit which calculates a pH value of water at a predetermined position outboard, based on a dilution ratio which shows a ratio by which the washing water discharged to outboard is diluted at the predetermined position outboard, the pH value measured by the first pH measuring instrument, and the pH value measured by the second pH measuring instrument.
Nozzle lance, combustion plant and method for exhaust gas treatment
A nozzle lance for exhaust gas treatment, a combustion plant with nozzle lances for exhaust gas treatment, and a method for exhaust gas treatment in a combustion plant are proposed, whereby an added fluid can be mixed in with the active fluid in or immediately in front of the nozzle lance.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WET FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION DEVICE, DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING WET FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION DEVICE, AND REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM COMPRISING DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING WET FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION DEVICE
A method for controlling a wet flue gas desulfurization device includes a step of constructing a first learning model by machine learning of a relationship between a future sulfur dioxide concentration at an outlet of the absorption tower, and operation data of the combustion device and operation data of the wet flue gas desulfurization device including a circulation flow rate of the absorption liquid, a step of creating, by using the first learning model, a first relationship table between a circulation flow rate of the absorption liquid at first time and a sulfur dioxide concentration in an effluent gas flowing out of the absorption tower at second time which is time in the future relative to the first time, a step of deciding, based on the first relationship table, the circulation flow rate of the absorption liquid at the first time, at which the sulfur dioxide concentration in the effluent gas at the second time is not more than a preset set value, and a step of adjusting an operation condition of the at least one circulation pump based on the decided circulation flow rate, at the first time.
