The efficiency of water disinfection can be significantly increased by supplying the ozone in combination with oxygen to an inlet of a cavitation pump or a line atomizer. A compressor can be introduced at an inlet of the cavitation pump or the line atomizer, compressing the gas mixture at a pressure higher than the pressure within pump or the atomizer. The compressed gases are provided to the inlet of the atomizer or the pump, where the compressed gases mix with the water and enter the cavitation pump or the line atomizer (where most of the dissolution of the gases happens). The compressor allows to increase the amount of oxygen and ozone provided to the pump or the line atomizer, increasing their dissolved concentration. In addition to the disinfecting properties, the higher level of oxygen correlates to an improved taste of the water.

A method of using magnetic influence on flow streams of liquids and gases to over excite their atoms, break existing molecular bonds, and from two oppositely charged flow streams cause immediate and permanent bonding of oppositely charged ions to create a new molecular composition. While magnetic influence is predominately responsible for the molecular reorganization produced, induced turbulence disrupts a tendency for laminar flow in the flow streams, creating more chaotic movement and molecule collisions in liquids/gases used and a more complete result. Mixing of the two oppositely charged flow streams is preferred via a venturi. Magnetic influence on flow streams can be applied more than once. Using this method with water having a molecular composition of H.sub.2O in a primary flow stream and ozone gas in a secondary flow stream, and mixing of the oppositely charged flow streams using a venturi, a new molecular composition of H.sub.2O.sub.5 can be created.

A system for performing a gas-liquid mass transfer includes a container bounding a compartment and having a top wall, a bottom wall, and an encircling sidewall extending therebetween. A tube has a first end and an opposing second end, the first end of the tube being disposed within the compartment of the container. A nozzle is disposed within the compartment of the container and has at least one outlet, the nozzle being coupled with the tube so that a gas can be passed through the tube and out the at least one outlet of the nozzle. The nozzle is sufficiently buoyant so that when a fluid is disposed within the compartment of the container, the nozzle floats on the fluid.

The efficiency of water disinfection can be significantly increased by supplying the ozone in combination with oxygen to an inlet of a cavitation pump. The ozone and the oxygen are turned into ultra-fine bubbles via cavitation action within the pump, facilitating the dissolution of the oxygen and ozone within the water. The water mixed with the oxygen and the ozone is subsequently supplied to a line atomizer, where the dissolution of the ozone within the mixture is completed. The combined use of the cavitation pump and the line atomizer can lead to a substantially complete dissolution of the supplied ozone within water that needs to be disinfected, allowing to easily achieve the concentration of ozone necessary for water disinfection. Due to this efficiency, the system and method described are highly scalable and suitable for water purification at water purification plants of various sizes.

An aeration assembly for aerating liquids including wine and other alcoholic beverages includes an expansion chamber and an aerating device. The expansion chamber is configured to be in fluid communication with an inside of the uncorked and/or opened bottle when engaged by a bottom portion of the expansion chamber. The aerating device comprises a gas conduit having a proximal end in fluid communication with a distal end. The distal end is disposable below the bottom portion of the expansion chamber. A gas source is in fluid communication with the proximal end of the gas conduit. The expansion chamber is configured to temporarily contain an expansion of bubbles during an aeration process. The expansion chamber and aerating device are not permanently connected, wherein the aerating device can be fully removed from the expansion chamber before, during or after the aeration process.
