METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PLATE-SHAPED BONDED BODY, BONDING DEVICE, AND PLATE-SHAPED BONDED BODY
A method for quickly applying and spreading adhesive between substrates without leaving air bubbles. The method includes holding two substrates apart from each other with adhesive sides facing, a second substrate being positioned above a first substrate. The second substrate is suspended in a manner so as to cause a portion to warp towards the first substrate. After a liquid filler is applied between the two substrates, rollers are lowered onto the second substrate and moved so as to disperse the liquid filler between the first and second substrates. In accordance with the rolling of the rollers, end portions of the second substrate are lowered towards the first substrate.
Hydrophilic AIOL with bonding
An accommodating intraocular lens comprises a first lens component, a second lens component, and an adhesive between portions of the two lens components. The cured adhesive bonds the lens components to form a fluid chamber. The lens components are bonded to one another along a seam which extends circumferentially along at least a portion of the lens components. The lens components may comprise the same polymer material. The cured adhesive also comprises the polymer or a prepolymer of the polymer to provide increased strength. The polymer is hydratable such that the lens components and the cured adhesive therebetween can swell together to inhibit stresses between the lens components and the cured adhesive.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR AN EXTERIOR MATERIAL OF VEHICLE AND MOLDED PRODUCT FOR VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed is a resin composition for an exterior material of a vehicle. The resin composition may include an amount of about 40 to 90 parts by weight of polypropylene resin having a melt index of about 70 to 110 g/10 min; an amount of about 10 to 40 parts by weight of an olefin block copolymer including an ethylene-based repeating unit and a -olefin-based repeating unit having 4 to 30 carbon atoms; an amount of about 10 to 20 parts by weight of needle-shaped inorganic filler having an aspect ratio of about 5 to 10; and an 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of laser-transmitting black colorant, wherein all the parts by weights based on 100 parts by weight of the resin composition. In particular, an average transmittance may range from about 0.01 to about 1% or less in a wavelength of about 380 to 700 nm, and an average transmittance may range from about 15% or greater and less than about 100% in a wavelength of about 800 to 1200 nm.
INKJET PRINTING-LAMINATION INLINE SYSTEM AND METHOD
Provided is a printing-lamination inline system and method being suitable for manufacturing packages having various kinds of package designs in small quantity and being capable of performing inkjet printing and lamination in an inline manner. The printing-lamination inline system comprises: a first web-shaped base material supply unit configured to supply a first web-shaped base material; an inkjet printer of a single-pass system, which is configured to subject the first web-shaped base material to aqueous inkjet printing; an adhesive application unit configured to apply an adhesive to the first web-shaped base material subjected to the aqueous inkjet printing; a drying unit configured to dry the applied adhesive; a second web-shaped base material supply unit configured to supply a second web-shaped base material so that the second web-shaped base material is bonded to the first web-shaped base material; and a lamination unit configured to subject the first web-shaped base material and the second web-shaped base material to lamination.
Vitrine and Method for Making a Vitrine
A method of joining panels for a vitrine is disclosed. The ends of the panels to be joined are mitered cut and bonded with a suitable adhesive providing adequate adhesion and transparency. The joints are formed to provide a wedge-shape bond gap sufficient to allow application of the adhesive from the outside of the gap through capillary action. The adhesive may be catalyzed or ultraviolet- or light-hardened.
Dithiolene metal complex colorless IR absorbers
The invention relates to the use of compounds of formulae (I) and/or (II) as colorless 1R absorbers wherein M is Ni, Pd, Pt, Au, Ir, Fe, Zn, W, Cu, Mo, In, Mn, Co, Mg, V, Cr or Ti, X.sub.1, X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 are each independently of the others sulfur or oxygen, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are each independently of the others hydrogen, NR.sub.7R.sub.8, unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1-C.sub.18alkyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.18 alkyl wherein the alkylene chain is interrupted with oxygen, unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1-C.sub.18alkenyl, unsubstituted or substituted aryl, unsubstituted or substituted arylalkyl or unsubstituted or substituted heteroarylalkyl, R.sub.7 and R.sub.8, each independently of the other, being unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1-C.sub.18alkyl, unsubstituted or substituted aryl, unsubstituted or substituted arylalkyl or unsubstituted or substituted heteroarylalkyl, a further IR absorber optionally being added to the compounds of formulae (I) and (II). The invention relates also to novel dithiolene compounds of formulae (I) and (II) wherein X.sub.1 is oxygen and X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 are oxygen or sulfur. The invention relates furthermore to novel dithiolene compounds of formulae (I) and (II) wherein R.sub.1 to R.sub.6 are NR.sub.7R.sub.8. ##STR00001##
NON-SLIP TELEPHONE CORD HAIR TIE
A non-slip telephone cord hair tie includes an elastic body. The elastic body is wound in the form of a telephone cord. Two ends of the elastic body are connected to each other to form an annular shape. The elastic body is provided with an anti-slip rib thereon. The elastic body is wound in the form of a telephone cord instead of a conventional hair band, thereby increasing the elasticity without injuring the hair. When the hair is tied up, the winding space between the telephone cord will be interposed between the bundled hair so that the hair after tied looks more.
Method of bonding substrates, microchip and method of manufacturing the same
Disclosed herein is a method of bonding substrates, a microchip, and a method of manufacturing the microchip capable of joining two substrates in a higher adhered state even when at least one of the substrate has a warpage or a roll. A method of bonding a first substrate and a second substrate each of which is made of glass or a resin comprises: a surface activating step for activating each of joining surfaces of the first substrate and the second substrate; and a pressurizing step for pressurizing the first substrate and the second substrate in a state that the first substrate and the second substrate are stacked such that respective joining surfaces contact each other. The joining surface of the first substrate and/or the joining surface of the second substrate are constituted with a plurality of joining regions segmented to be separate from one another by a segmenting recessed portion.
