A lock for holding a first part to a second part comprises a holding body with a receptacle for receiving a protruding part of the second part. The holding body has a wall that borders the receptacle and a locking element, the locking element having a protrusion, whereby the locking element has a first position, whereby in the first position the protrusion is in a locking position, whereby in the locking position the protrusion protrudes from the wall into the receptacle by a first amount and the locking element has a second position, whereby in the second position the protrusion is in a release position, whereby in the release position the protrusion either protrudes from the wall into the receptacle by a second amount, whereby the second amount is smaller than the first amount, or the protrusion does not protrude from the wall.

A locking device (100), especially for locking a backrest (4) of a vehicle seat (1) to a vehicle structure (6), includes a rotary latch lock (20) for locking a mating element (8). The locking device (100) further includes an ejection lever (133) which, in an unlocked state of the rotary latch-type lock (20), moves the mating element (8) relative to the rotary latch-type lock (20) by actuating an operating handle (121).

A seat lock apparatus includes: a hook member configured to be rotationally biased elastically in a positive direction; an interlocking unit configured to restrict rotation of the hook member in a negative direction; and a cover member configured to cover an operation range of the hook member at one side of the hook member, the cover member including a striker entrance groove that a striker enters. The hook member includes an engagement groove. The engagement groove has both end portions at a side of an opening of the engagement groove, each end portion being beyond the striker entrance groove to overlap the cover member as viewed along a shaft direction of the hook member when the hook member is at a position of being restricted from operating by the interlocking unit.

A device is provided for anchoring a seat of a motor vehicle on a vehicle floor, wherein, on its lower side, the seat has at least one seat rail which extends in an X-direction of the motor vehicle. An adapter plate is arranged underneath at one end of the seat rail in a Z-direction, which adapter plate has a first hook which extends at one end of the seat rail downwards in the Z-direction and back again in the X-direction of the seat rail. The vehicle floor has an attachment pot, with a first aperture and a second aperture which extend in the X-direction. The first hook can be introduced downwards in the Z-direction into the first aperture and can be displaced in the X-direction until the hook is hooked onto a stop which is arranged within the attachment pot and is oriented in a Y-direction. One and the same device can be used for seats of different widths, and can be used for different Y-positions of the seat reference point in different vehicle derivatives.

The support may include a lock plate that may be configured to selectively limit movement of the support relative to the track in at least one of a first direction and a second direction. A rotating device for a vehicle interior item is provided with latching means that is provided on a side of a base member having a rotation support part, and engagement means that is provided on a side of a rotating member supporting a vehicle interior item and being rotatably supported by the rotation support part, and can be switched between a state in which the engagement means engages with the latching means so as to suppress detachment of the rotating member from the base member and a state in which the engagement with the latching means is released when the rotating member attains the rotatable state, wherein the latching means and the engagement means are disposed further outside than the rotating member in plan view at least when the rotating member is in the non-rotating state. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress an increase in the height while suppressing detachment when the vehicle interior item is not rotating.
