Windshield touch and clean system
A windshield touch and clean system that can clean either the entire windshield of an automobile or spot clean a localized area of the windshield is disclosed. The windshield touch and clean system may control a cleaning head in a number of ways including but not limited to two articulating extension members or a gantry system. The cleaning head may be retrofitted with a spray nozzle for spraying cleaning fluid and also a vibration unit to assist in cleaning of residue on the windshield.
CASING FOR A WINDSCREEN WIPER DRIVE ROD
Casing (20) for a windscreen wiper drive rod, in particular of a motor vehicle, said casing being configured to cover et least a portion of said drive rod and comprising means for fixing to said drive rod and/or to at least one element (42) linked to said drive rod, characterised in that it further comprises support and guiding means (70) which are configured to cooperate with at least one electric cable (63) and/or at least one fluid line (64) of said windscreen wiper.
RAILCAR WITH END CAP
A railcar according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a railcar with a plastic end cap covering a front surface of a car body in a front car, the railcar including: a wiper shaft configured to attach a wiper blade to an end portion of the wiper shaft and pass through the car body while extending inside and outside the car body; a penetrated portion formed as part of the car body and configured such that the wiper shaft passes through the penetrated portion; and an opening portion formed in the end cap and exposing at least part of the penetrated portion to a car exterior.
Windshield wiper system
A windshield wiper system (3) for a windshield (1) having a curved surface and an oscillating gear drive (2) with a central park position (A). Said system (3) comprises at least one wiper arm (13) and wiper blades (5), said wiper blades (5) being mounted by means of said at least one wiper arm (13) to said oscillating gear drive (2). The windshield (1) and the wiper blade lips (11) have a frictional coefficient (). Two wiper arms (13), two wiper blades (5) each with a fit bolt (20), bearing bushes (10), a prolongation fitting (7) and a rocker (6) are provided. Said two wiper blades (5) are mounted rotatable about a wiper blade rotation axis (9), perpendicular to said oscillatory axis (V) and said longitudinal axis (U). Said wiper blade rotation axis (9) is defined by a center line through the fit bolts (20) mounted opposed to each other on said two wiper blades (5) being essentially parallel with a distance (a) to each other. Said rocker (6) rotatable attaches each of the two wiper blades (5) by means of the fit bolt (12). The prolongation fitting (7) rotatable attaches the rocker (6) to the wiper arms (13). The fit bolt (12) with the rocker (6) defines a rocker rotation axis (8) in a plane defined by said oscillatory axis (V) and said longitudinal axis (U) with an inclination angle to the outer surface of the windshield (1) in the central park position (A) providing a distance (b) direct under the wiper blades rotation axis (9) between the windshield (1) and the rocker rotation axis (8) perpendicular to the windshield (1) in the central park position (A) fulfilling
WIPER SYSTEM
A wiper system (10) for a motor vehicle, having at least one pantograph wiper arm (20), having a drive arm (22) which can be driven in a predefined angular range (32) by an output shaft (24) of a drive unit (30), wherein the output shaft (24) is pivotably accommodated in a drive bearing (42) arranged on a bracket (40) and the bracket (40) is designed to be fixed to a body of a motor vehicle, the drive arm (22) is fixed directly to the output shaft (24) and the latter is drivable oscillating pivotably about its longitudinal central axis (26) by means of the drive unit (30).
WINDSHIELD CLEAN SYSTEM
A cleaning device for a surface, such as a windshield of a vehicle, includes an active positioning system and a cleaning head. The active positioning system is configured to deploy from a storage position hidden from view within a covered storage space and to position the cleaning head upon the windshield. The active positioning system includes a first extension member and a second extension member that move relative to one another to position the cleaning head, and also move the cleaning head across the windshield along a path. The cleaning head can have a brush portion configured to agitate debris from the window, and a drying portion configured to dry the window after cleaning. The cleaning device can be controlled via a touch-screen display in the vehicle, enabling a user to direct that specific portions of the windshield be cleaned as desired.
