Windshield touch and clean system
A cleaning device for a surface, such as a windshield of a vehicle, has a housing that holds a spray bar, rotatable brush and a wiper blade. An engagement mechanism moves spray bar, the brush, and the wiper blade out from a disengaged position within the housing to an engaged position outside the housing so that they can be used to clean, brush, and dry the surface. After the spray bar, brush, and wiper blade are used to, respectively, clean, brush, and dry the surface, the engagement mechanism then moves the spray bar, the brush, and the wiper blade to a disengaged position within the housing.
WINDSHIELD CLEAN SYSTEM
A cleaning device for a surface, such as a windshield of a vehicle, includes an active positioning system and a cleaning head. The active positioning system is configured to deploy from a storage position hidden from view within a covered storage space and to position the cleaning head upon the windshield. The active positioning system includes a first extension member and a second extension member that move relative to one another to position the cleaning head, and also move the cleaning head across the windshield along a path. The cleaning head can have a brush portion configured to agitate debris from the window, and a drying portion configured to dry the window after cleaning. The cleaning device can be controlled via a touch-screen display in the vehicle, enabling a user to direct that specific portions of the windshield be cleaned as desired.
Vehicle front structure
A vehicle front structure which includes a bracket and a washer. The bracket is disposed between a part of a back surface of a license plate and a front grille. The bracket fastens the license plate to the front grille. The washer moves forward on the back side of the license plate in an area without the bracket in order to clean a sensing surface of a sensor which monitors the front of the vehicle. The bracket includes one or more of supporting portions which protrude on the washer side and support the license plate from the back side of the license plate.
Windshield wiper apparatus
Described is a windshield wiper apparatus that is formed to dispense fluid. The wiper apparatus includes an elongate body member having a length with a sealable channel therein that runs along the length. At least one blade protrudes downward along the length of the elongate body member. Further, a series of holes are formed such they pass from the sealable channel and through the elongate body member proximate the at least one blade. Thus, a fluid passing through the sealable channel is dispensed onto a surface proximate the at least one blade.

A cleaning device for spray cleaning of a sensor surface includes a spray-body having a spray-nozzle and a body-housing. A liquid fluid connection to a liquid inlet and a pressurized air fluid connection to a pressurized air inlet are such that suction pressure is induced at the liquid fluid connection upon providing pressurized airflow from the pressurized air inlet to the spray-nozzle. A hydraulic flow path is connected to the liquid fluid connection. A hydraulic valve is adapted for selective control of supplying liquid fluid to the liquid fluid inlet. A pneumatic flow path is connected to the pressurized air fluid connection. A pneumatic valve is in a pressurized air fluid duct adapted for selective control of supplying pressurized air fluid from a pressurizer to the pressurized air fluid inlet. The spray-nozzle sprays the liquid fluid and the pressurized air fluid as a mixture in an aerosol jet.

SENSOR APPARATUS WITH CLEANING
A sensor apparatus includes a base, a nozzle positioned in the base and rotatable relative to the base, an extension arm elongated from a first portion to a second portion, and a fluid source fluidly connected to the nozzle. The first portion is fixed to the nozzle, and the second portion is spaced from the nozzle. Pressurizing the fluid source applies force to the second portion of the extension arm.

A device for cleaning an optical lens of a parking assistance camera includes at least one inner annular body and at least one outer annular body. The at least one outer annular body is configured such that the fluid chamber is closed with respect to surroundings of the device when the at least one outer annular body is in the resting position. The at least one outer annular body is configured such that the fluid chamber is open with respect to the surroundings of the device such that when said at least one outer annular body is in the cleaning position, a fluid introduced into the fluid chamber exits the fluid chamber in the direction of the optical lens. The at least one fluid supply element opening into the fluid chamber is disposed on the at least one inner annular body.

A sensor assembly includes a first sensor window defining a first plane, a second sensor window fixed relative to the first sensor window and defining a second plane different than the first plane, and a nozzle positioned to deliver fluid to the first and second sensor windows. INTEGRATED ON-BOARD VEHICLE VISION AND CLEANING SYSTEM
The invention refers to integrated on-board vehicle vision and cleaning system comprising a casing being mounted in a vehicle bodywork, a viewing camera and a cleaning fluid nozzle associated with a nozzle carrier and communicating with a cleaning fluid source. The nozzle carrier is integrated into the casing and is moveable within the casing between first and second positions, the first position being a retracted position and the second position being an extended position which is the operating position. The nozzle carrier is designed as a sleeve encompassing the sensor unit.
