The invention relates to a cleaning device intended for spraying at least one fluid onto a surface to be cleaned of a motor vehicle, such as an optical sensor of an optical detection system, which comprises at least one conveyor body (8) inside of which a distribution duct (11) is arranged and which includes, at the terminal distribution portion (36) thereof, a fluid distribution element (9) in which at least one cleaning fluid spray nozzle (10) is formed, the distribution element (9) including a distribution channel (12) in fluid connection with the distribution duct (11) arranged in the conveyor body (8) and with the spray nozzle (10). According to the invention, the cleaning fluid distribution element (9) is made up of two portions (16, 17): a first portion (16) including a base (16a) of the distribution element (9) attached to the conveyor body (8) and a second portion (17) including a cover (17a) urged against the first portion (16).
Sensor assembly with cleaning system
A sensor assembly includes a cylindrical sensor window defining an axis, and an annular member coupled to the sensor window and rotatable about the axis. The annular member includes a nozzle aimed at the sensor window and oriented at an acute angle from a radial direction toward the axis in a plane orthogonal to the axis.
Receiving/transmitting device for vehicle
Provided is a receiving/transmitting device for vehicle that inhibits applied cleaning liquid from spoiling an outer appearance of a vehicle. A receiving/transmitting device for vehicle of the present invention includes: a receiver/transmitter configured to receive and/or transmit a radio wave; a transmissive cover positioned so as to be fixed relative to the receiver/transmitter; a receiver/transmitter moving unit configured to cause the cover and the receiver/transmitter to reciprocate between a receiving/transmitting position and a cleaning position; and a nozzle device configured to eject cleaning liquid toward the surface of the cover when the receiver/transmitter is at the cleaning position.
System for cleaning an optical sensor, assembly comprising such a system, and associated motor vehicle
The present invention relates to a system (1) for cleaning an optical sensor (3), notably of a motor vehicle, comprising: —an element (5) for spraying a cleaning liquid, —a tank (7) of cleaning liquid fluidically connected to the element (5) for spraying cleaning liquid, —a pump (9) configured to pump the cleaning liquid from the tank (7) to the element (5) for spraying the cleaning liquid, the system (1) also comprising a containment wall (11) for the cleaning liquid, which is movable between a retracted position in which the containment wall is configured to be positioned outside the field of view of the optical sensor (3) and a cleaning position in which the containment wall (11) is configured to be positioned in front of the optical sensor (3) so as to define a collection vessel (13) for the cleaning liquid, and in that it comprises an evacuation pipe (15) for the cleaning liquid that is connected both to the collection vessel (13) in the cleaning position and to the tank (7) of cleaning liquid.
VIEWING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A viewing device for a vehicle includes a viewing assistance portion configured to assist viewing by an occupant of the vehicle. A housing body houses the viewing assistance portion. An opening portion is formed in a panel member to penetrate at a peripheral portion of a main surface side of the viewing assistance portion. A nozzle in the housing body is displaceable to project/retract from the opening portion. When projecting from the opening portion, the nozzle is configured to direct washing liquid from a jetting port at a distal end portion side of the nozzle toward the main surface side of the viewing assistance portion. A cover is displaceable between a closing position and an opening position. A mechanism is operable, using a force of the nozzle being displaced, to displace the cover.
WINDSHIELD CLEAN SYSTEM
A cleaning device for a surface, such as a windshield of a vehicle, includes an active positioning system and a cleaning head. The active positioning system is configured to deploy from a storage position hidden from view within a covered storage space and to position the cleaning head upon the windshield. The active positioning system includes a first extension member and a second extension member that move relative to one another to position the cleaning head, and also move the cleaning head across the windshield along a path. The cleaning head can have a brush portion configured to agitate debris from the window, and a drying portion configured to dry the window after cleaning. The cleaning device can be controlled via a touch-screen display in the vehicle, enabling a user to direct that specific portions of the windshield be cleaned as desired.
A Roof Module Having an Environment Sensor for Autonomous or Partially Autonomous Vehicle Operation
A roof module for a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car, is proposed, the roof module having a roof cladding, which forms an outer visible surface of the roof module, and at least one sensor module having an environment sensor for sensing a vehicle environment during an autonomous or partially autonomous operation of the motor vehicle. A viewing area can be formed in the roof cladding for the environment sensor and the viewing area can be provided with a cleaning element.
LIGHT SYSTEM, METHOD OF FORMING TUNNELS OF LIGHT, A MOBILE 360° LIGHT SYSTEM, AND A METHOD OF CLEANING THE MOBILE 360° LIGHT SYSTEM
A light system comprising: (a) a plurality of light sources connected to a vehicle and creating light that radiates away from the vehicle so that the light substantially surrounds the vehicle; and (b) one or more sensors that detect light from another light source; and wherein one or more of the plurality of light sources are turned off in a direction of the another light source while some of the plurality of light sources remain on so that a tunnel having a reduction or absence of light is formed in the direction of the another light source between the plurality of light sources that remain on.
VEHICLE CLEANING DEVICE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF
A vehicle cleaning device includes a cylinder to which a cleaning fluid is supplied; a piston slidably inserted in the cylinder; a spray nozzle unit mounted at a leading end of the piston and configured to spray the cleaning fluid toward an object-to-be-cleaned; and a cap that closes a gap between the cylinder and the piston in an opening of the cylinder through which the piston protrudes. The cap includes a tubular part inside the cylinder, and the tubular part defines an end of movement of the piston. A communication hole is provided between a communication groove provided in an outer peripheral surface of the tubular part and an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder, and the gap between the cylinder and the piston communicates with the outside of the cylinder through the communication hole.
