REAR VIEW CAMERA FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
According to at least one aspect, the present disclosure provides a method comprising: determining whether a vehicle is traveling in reverse or is in a rear photographing mode; in response to determining that the vehicle is traveling in reverse or is in the rear photographing mode, opening an opening and closing unit included in an inner housing; as the opening and closing unit opens, drawing a camera and a fluid injection unit out of the vehicle; photographing, by the camera, a peripheral region of the vehicle; spraying, by the fluid injection unit, each of a washer fluid and air toward a lens surface of the camera; when the vehicle has ended traveling in reverse or the rear photographing mode, closing the opening and closing unit; and as the opening and closing unit closes, drawing the camera and the fluid injection unit into the vehicle.
Cleaning device intended for spraying at least one fluid towards a surface to be cleaned of a detection system of a motor vehicle
A detection system (1) intended to equip a motor vehicle comprises at least one optical sensor (2) delimited by at least one curved optical surface (20). It also comprises at least one cleaning device (3) for cleaning the optical surface (20) that comprises a delivery ramp (4) for delivering at least one cleaning and/or drying fluid. According to the invention, the delivery ramp (4) has a curved shape, the curvature (C′) of which is substantially equal to the curvature (C) of at least a portion (201, 202) of the optical surface (20).
Pop-up washer nozzle with defrost feature
An apparatus, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a housing and a plunger moveable between a retracted position within the housing and an extended position to spray fluid on a vehicle component. A heater is mounted for movement with the plunger. A method according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, molding a heater element and a body having an internal channel extending between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet together to form a plunger configured to spray fluid out of the fluid outlet.
Telescopic cleaning device
A telescopic cleaning device, for a glass surface to be cleaned of a motor vehicle, includes at least one hollow conveying body (5) for the cleaning fluid, closed at an upstream end by an inlet flange (12) and accommodating a movable piston (8) which is configured so as to slide in said hollow conveying body (5). The hollow conveying body additionally accommodates a rod (14) which extends jutting out from the inlet flange and around which the movable piston is capable of sliding, the movable piston and the rod being configured so as to allow the fluid to flow between them from the inlet flange to the distribution element. A heating element (22) is arranged on the rod (14), between said rod and the movable piston (8), such that the fluid flowing between the rod and the movable piston is set to flow in contact with the heating element (22).
Device for cleaning a driver assistance camera of a motor vehicle
A device for cleaning a camera lens (6), by means of a cleaning head, comprises a fixed cleaning head and a camera that is made mobile by means of drive means (10), the head being accommodated in a structural element (2) of the vehicle. The drive means are suitable for generating a relative movement of the camera in relation to the cleaning head, between a passive image capture position in which the camera is disposed accommodated in said structural element of the vehicle facing the cleaning head, and an active position in which the camera is deployed at a distance from the structural element of the vehicle to allow image capture. The device is particularly effective when applied to the cleaning of a reversing camera implanted in motor vehicles.
