A heat resistant glove for handling heated objects includes a shell that is flexible and hand shaped. The shell has a second end that is open, such that the shell is configured to receive a hand of a user. A first fastener is coupled to the shell proximate to the second end. A flap has a first edge that is coupled to the shell proximate to the second end. A second fastener, complementary to the first fastener, is coupled to the flap. The second fastener is positioned to couple with the first fastener to compress the second end of the shell around a wrist of the user. A guard that is coupled to a bottom face of the shell is positioned such that heated objects can be held in the hand of the user when the hand is positioned in the shell.
