The wiper device includes a wiper blade which extends in a longitudinal direction and at least one longitudinal strip that is pre-curved to have a curved shape when in a relaxed condition. The wiper device supports the wiper blade and biases the wiper blade into a curved shape. A connecting device is attached with the at least one longitudinal strip. The connecting device includes a two-piece base and a joint part which is pivotably connected with the two-piece base. The two-piece base includes a first piece, which is directly secured with the at least one longitudinal strip, and a second piece with laterally spaced apart side walls that are each J-shaped.

The wiper device also includes a connecting device for pivotally connecting the wiper blade with an oscillating arm. The connecting device has spaced-apart sidewalls, each with a protrusion that extends sidewardly and outwardly. The connecting device and oscillating arm are interconnected by the protrusions pivotally and snappingly engaging into correspondingly shaped recesses of the oscillating arm. The oscillating arm has a guiding tongue engaging into a guiding groove of the connecting device. The connecting device has an asymmetric form with respect to its middle transverse plane, seen in vertical direction, in order to ensure that the wiper blade can only be mounted on the oscillating arm in a predetermined orientation of the wiper blade relative to the oscillating arm.

Streamlined flat windscreen wiper

A streamlined flat windscreen wiper for a vehicle is disclosed. The flat wiper includes a longitudinal wiper blade, at least one longitudinal stiffening member, a longitudinal member for retaining the wiper blade and the stiffening member, a longitudinal streamlined portion comprising two terminal caps and a central mounting extending between the terminal caps and being connected thereto. The mounting has means for fixing to the stiffening member or to the member for retaining the stiffening member, and each cap includes means for guiding in translation terminal parts of said member.

WINDSCREEN WIPER DEVICE

The windscreen wiper device includes a wiper element and a least one carrier element. The wiper device also includes a connecting device, which includes a base and a joint part. The joint part has a top wall that extends in a lateral direction between a pair of side walls. The joint part also has a button configuration for lockingly attaching the connecting device with at least two different types of oscillating wiper arms. The button configuration includes first and second buttons, each of which is attached with the side walls via resilient strips. The resilient strips extend directly from the side walls to the buttons. The resilient strips bias the buttons into raised positions wherein the buttons project above the top walls. The resilient strips also allow the buttons to move to a pressed position wherein a top surface of the respective button is generally flush with the top wall.

WINDSCREEN WIPER DEVICE

The windscreen wiper device includes a wiper element and a carrier element. The windscreen wiper device also includes a connecting device which has a base and a joint part. The joint part has a top wall that extends in a lateral direction between a pair of side walls. The joint part also includes a button configuration for lockingly attaching the connecting device with at least two different types of oscillating wiper arms. The button configuration includes a first button and a second button. The button configuration also includes a pin that is spaced below the top wall and that extends in the lateral direction between the side walls. The first button is attached with the pin on one longitudinal side of the pin, and the second button is attached with the pin on an opposite longitudinal side of the pin.
