Anti-corrosion fluid filter system
An apparatus, method, and system for fluid filtration utilizing a metal alloy core comprised of zinc, nickel, tin, lead, silver, iron, and a remainder of copper. The shapes and sizes of the metal alloy can comprise rods, balls, shavings, tubes, or shot. These shapes and sizes of the metal alloy can then be placed within the various vessels used in the oil and natural gas industries.
CORROSION INHIBITION TREATMENT FOR AGGRESSIVE FLUIDS
Methods and compositions for inhibiting corrosion of metal surfaces in aggressive fluids, including fluids with high total dissolved solids content. The treatment composition can include a stannous corrosion inhibitor and optionally an additive that enhances the corrosion inhibition properties of the stannous component. The additive may include organic compounds having at least one heteroatom.
Use of di-ionic compounds as corrosion inhibitors in a water system
Disclosed herein are the methods of using di-cationic or di-anionic compounds, which are derived from primary amine through an aza-Michael addition with an activated olefin, in a corrosion control composition to mitigate corrosion of a surface in a water system. The disclosed methods or compositions are found to be more effective than those methods or compositions including commonly used single quaternary compounds for mitigating corrosion for a metal surface in water systems.
Biocide system for treating standing and recirculating fluid in cooling systems
Powered and non-powered kits for the treatment of fluid in boiler and cooling systems, both open and closed recirculating are disclosed. The kits generally include a fluid container, a fluid connector configured to engage the fluid container, a hose configured for fluid communication with the fluid connector, a port, a fluid container suspension means, and a hose end support member. The fluid container is configured to enclose chemical agents and/or solutions. The port may be formed along the fluid container and be configured to receive the fluid connector. The hose end support member may support at least one portion of the hose at a desired height above the standing fluid to be treated. In embodiments, a metering pump is included with the kits, the metering pump configured to cause a predetermined amount of the chemical agents or solutions to be dispersed from the fluid container.
ALTERNATING MAGNETIC FIELD SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING NANOBUBBLES
Alternating magnetic field (AMF) systems and devices and methods for producing nanobubbles said methods and devices. The AMF systems and devices of the present invention may feature sets of magnets configured to expose a flowing liquid to an alternating magnetic field. The alternating magnetic field destabilizes dissolved gas molecules to produce nanobubbles. The methods, systems, and devices of the present invention may be used to treat solution, for reducing fouling or corrosion in a tube system or pipe system, methods for increasing water porosity of soil, methods for treating thromboembolic disease, etc.
Method and device for treating wastewater containing organic matter and/or wet waste containing organic matter, in particular for treating sanitary wastewater in trains
The invention relates to a method for treating organically contaminated wastewater and/or organically contaminated wet waste, in particular for treating sanitary wastewater (15) in trains. According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: a) purifying the organically contaminated wastewater and/or the organically contaminated wet waste, in particular the sanitary wastewater (15) in trains, in a bioreactor (20), b) feeding the wastewater (24) at least partially purified in the bioreactor (20) into a conditioning plant (30), c) at least partial phase separation of the partially purified wastewater (24) in the conditioning plant (30), d) obtaining a liquid portion and a solid portion of the at least partially purified wastewater (24).
Electrolytic zinc dosing device and method for reducing scale
An electrolytic zinc dosing device that regulates the amount of zinc delivered or dosed into a flowing stream of water as a function, in part, of the current applied to an electrolytic cell and the flow rate of the flowing water. A replaceable electrolytic cell having an anode and a cathode connected to a power supply, and at least one bipolar electrode in aqueous solution between the anode and cathode. Flow rate information and/or total current information are used to determine the dosing quantity of zinc delivered.
Oleyl propylenediamine-based corrosion inhibitors
Disclosed are oleyl propylenediamine-based compounds used in compositions and methods for inhibiting corrosion. The method comprises introducing into a fluid source a composition comprising one or more oleyl propylenediamine-based compounds comprising Formula I: ##STR00001## wherein Y.sub.1, Y.sub.2, and Y.sub.3 independently are hydrogen or a substituent of Formula (II): ##STR00002## wherein V is —O— or —NH—, W is optionally present and is a linear or branched C.sub.1-10 aliphatic group, X is —H, —NZ.sub.3.sup.+, —COOH, —SO.sub.3H, —OSO.sub.3H.sub.2, —PO.sub.3H, —OPO.sub.3H.sub.2, or a salt thereof, each Z independently is hydrogen or a linear or branched C.sub.1-20 aliphatic group optionally interrupted or substituted with one or more oxygen atoms, and R is hydrogen or methyl, provided that at least one of Y.sub.1, Y.sub.2, or Y.sub.3 is a substituent of Formula (II).
