VANADIUM COMPOUNDS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THEREOF
Disclosed are vanadium (V) compounds and pharmaceutical compositions comprising these vanadium compounds. Also disclosed are methods of making and using these vanadium compounds, for example, to treat cancer (e.g., including brain cancer).
Nitrogen-Containing Ligands And Their Use In Atomic Layer Deposition Methods
Methods for deposition of elemental metal films on surfaces using metal coordination complexes comprising nitrogen-containing ligands are provided. Also provided are nitrogen-containing ligands useful in the methods of the invention and metal coordination complexes comprising these ligands.
AUTOMATED META PARAMETER SEARCH FOR INVARIANT BASED ANOMALY DETECTORS IN LOG ANALYTICS
Systems and methods for automatically generating a set of meta-parameters used to train invariant-based anomaly detectors are provided. Data is transformed into a first set of time series data and a second set of time series data. A fitness threshold search is performed on the first set of time series data to automatically generate a fitness threshold, and a time resolution search is performed on the set of second time series data to automatically generate a time resolution. A set of meta-parameters including the fitness threshold and the time resolution are sent to one or more user devices across a network to govern the training of an invariant-based anomaly detector.
VANADIUM COMPOUND, RAW MATERIAL FOR FORMING THIN FILM, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THIN FILM
A vanadium compound represented by following General Formula (1).
##STR00001##
In General Formula (1), R.sup.1 represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 7 carbon atoms and n represents a number from 2 to 4. R.sup.1 preferably represents a secondary alkyl or a tertiary alkyl. It is preferred that in General Formula (1), n is 2 and R.sup.1 is tert-butyl group or tert-pentyl group, since the compound has a broad ALD window and high thermal decomposition temperature to be able to form a good quality vanadium-containing thin film that has a small carbon residue when used as an ALD material.
Macrocycles
The invention relates to chemical compounds and complexes that can be used in therapeutic and diagnostic applications.
Redox polymers
Novel transition metal complexes of iron, cobalt, ruthenium, osmium, and vanadium are described. The transition metal complexes can be used as redox mediators in enzyme based electrochemical sensors. In such instances, transition metal complexes accept electrons from, or transfer electrons to, enzymes at a high rate and also exchange electrons rapidly with the sensor. The transition metal complexes include at least one substituted or unsubstituted biimidazole ligand and may further include a second substituted or unsubstituted biimidazole ligand or a substituted or unsubstituted bipyridine or pyridylimidazole ligand. Transition metal complexes attached to polymeric backbones are also described.
Visibly Transparent, Near-Infrared-Absorbing Photovoltaic Devices
Visibly transparent photovoltaic devices are disclosed, such as those are transparent to visible light but absorb near-infrared light and/or ultraviolet light. The photovoltaic devices make use of transparent electrodes and near-infrared absorbing visibly transparent photoactive compounds, optical materials, and/or buffer materials.
A SIMPLE METAL-ORGANIC FRAMEWORK FOR THE SELECTIVE ADSORPTION OF CARBON DIOXIDE FROM FLUE GAS
Discloses herein is an activated metal-organic framework of formula as defined in the application, and the metal organic framework has a BET surface area of from 250 to 1,000 m.sup.2/g as obtained from a 298 K CO.sub.2 sorption isotherm. In a particular embodiment, the activated metal-organic framework is aluminium formate (Al(HCOO).sub.3) or vanadium formate (V(HCOO).sub.3).
Bismuth-containing compounds, coordination polymers, methods for modulating pharmacokinetic properties of biologically active agents, and methods for treating patients
Bismuth-containing compounds include bismuth and a biologically active agent coordinated to the bismuth. The biologically active agent includes at least one heteroatom configured for coordination with the bismuth. Coordination polymers include a polymer matrix that contains a bismuth-containing compound. Methods for modulating a pharmacokinetic property of a biologically active agent include coordinating the biologically active agent to bismuth to form a bismuth-containing compound, and administering the bismuth-containing compound orally to a patient. Methods for treating Parkinson's disease, methods for treating hypothyroidism, methods for treating ulcerative colitis, and methods for treating cancer each include administering a bismuth-containing compound to a patient.
