Discriminatory insect sampling device and method for use
Present invention is a device and a method for collecting targeted insects or targeted insect communities on plants. It can be used to non-destructively collect insect communities from a single plant. Alternatively, it can be used to collect a targeted insect from a plant. Present invention consists of the following elements: a first hose; an extended air nozzle; a thumb lever push valve; a brass barb; a second hose; a knapsack; a pneumatic mini timer; a carbon dioxide flow regulator; a carbon dioxide tank; a bag; a drawstring; and a glass vial. The present invention can be used as follows: consulting a chart; setting carbon dioxide flow regulator; setting pneumatic mini timer; deploying a bag over a plant; cinching said bag; depressing thumb lever; shaking bag to relocate targeted insects from bag into the glass vial; detaching glass vial; and capping glass vial.
FRAGRANCE AND INSECT REPELLANT DISPENSER
A fragrance and insect repellant dispenser includes a container, a lid, at least one radial set of dispensing openings, a plurality of top openings, a placement collar, a fan assembly, a power source, a plurality of locking mechanism. The radial set of dispensing openings traverses through a lateral wall of the container. The plurality of top openings traverses through a cover of the lid. The placement collar and the power source are adjacently connected onto the lid. The fan assembly is adjacently connected to the lid, opposite of the placement collar. The fan assembly is electrically connected to the power source and positioned within the container. The lid is perimetrically attached to the container by the plurality of locking mechanisms. Resultantly, the fan assembly is able to dispense at least one solution of fragrance and insect repellant through the plurality of dispensing openings and the plurality of top openings.

Light-emitting diode (LED) lamp for bug deterrence
Apparatus and systems for a self-contained and portable LED lamp, providing bug deterrent capabilities and a limited number of ambient light settings, are described herein. A battery may be electrically coupled to a LED and configured to produce power. The LED may include lighting chip controls, which may cause the LED to emit light corresponding to one or more of: ambient white light or an insect deterrence light, where light emission of the LED is limited to: a maximum of three ambient white light settings, and one or more insect deterrence settings. A switch may be configured to transition between the maximum of three ambient white light settings and the one or more insect deterrence settings.
Scent Devices and Methods
Scent devices and methods are provided. In one embodiment, the present invention can be a device to scent an environment comprising a scent and a structural component. The scent stick can have a length to average cross-sectional diameter ratio of at least about 4:1 according to some embodiments. The scent stick can be colored to blend into an environmental setting to make the presence of the scent stick unobtrusive. The scent stick may also be attached or hung by the addition of a hanger or hoop. The scent stick may be hung from a tree, automobile mirror or a person as an adornment. Other embodiments are also described.
Method for Control of Insect on Poultry
