DEGRADABLE EVOH HIGH-BARRIER COMPOSITE FILM
A degradable EVOH high-barrier composite film, characterized in that the materials of various layers in the composite film all obtain approximately-consistent biodegradability by introducing biomass, and the additive amount of the additive master batch in the materials of each layer is controlled within the range of 0.3-15% of the total mass of the materials of the corresponding layer; the hydrophilic activity of the hydrophilic groups in the additive master batch should be greater than or equal to that of the hydrophilic groups in the materials of each layer; by adding the additive master batch, the mole ratios of the hydrophilic groups to carbon atoms of the materials of various layers tend to be consistent, namely, the bioactivities tend to be consistent, so that the degradation rates of the materials of various layers in the composite film tend to be consistent. The present invention makes contribution to obtaining approximately-consistent bioactivities and approximately-consistent biodegradation rates by balancing the mole ratios of the hydrophilic groups to carbon atoms in the materials of various layers, and the appearance, the functions and the physical and mechanical properties of a product remain unchanged.
HEAT BONDING OF LOW ENERGY SURFACE SUBSTRATES
A method comprising providing a polymeric substrate having a melting point of from about 130° C. to about 190° C., and locating a material layer onto the substrate, wherein the material layer comprises one or more polymeric materials that liquefy upon exposure to temperatures of at least about 100° C., to blend with a softened portion of the polymeric substrate. Upon exposure of one or more of the substrate and the material layer to a stimulus, the temperature is increased in a predetermined temperature zone of one or more of the substrate and material layer to cause blending of the one or more polymeric materials of the material layer with the softened portion of the polymeric substrate.
HYDROPHOBIC NANO SILICA MIXED THERMOPLASTIC HOT-MELT FILM WITH EXCELLENT ADHESIVE STRENGTH
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic hot melt film having excellent adhesive strength in which hydrophobic nanosilica is mixed. The resin composition contains nanosilica having a particle size of 1 to 100 nm and containing hydrophobic functional groups on its surface in the range of 0.1 to 5 phr (Parts per Hundred Resin), and the nanosilica forms nanosilica aggregates with an average size of the aggregates is within 100˜1200 nm. The thickness of the thermoplastic hot melt film is 0.02˜0.3 mm. The thermoplastic hot melt film of the present invention is mixed with nanosilica containing hydrophobic functional groups, lipophilic, on the surface to improve dispersibility, strengthen water resistance, and increase tensile strength. The material cost is reduced while securing one adhesive strength and excellent durability, and multi-press molding is possible, which has the effect of increasing energy saving and productivity.

Floor coverings and floor covering systems and methods of making and installing same
Floor coverings having a greige good, an adhesive layer, and a secondary backing material. The greige good has a primary backing component having adjoined first and second portions, and a plurality of fibers. The secondary backing material has an attached portion and a first exposable portion, with the attached portion adhered to the first portion of the primary backing component by contact with the adhesive layer. The second portion of the primary backing component is unattached to the first exposable portion of the secondary backing material, and the first exposable portion defines a portion of the first end edge of the floor covering. The second portion of the primary backing component is selectively moveable relative to the first portion to a position in which at least a portion of the second portion of the primary backing component does not overlie the first exposable portion of the secondary backing material.
Adhesive sheet
An adhesive sheet comprising a hot-melt adhesive layer. The hot-melt type adhesive layer comprises a modified polymer (A) to which a cross-linkable group is bonded and a polyolefin (B). The adhesive sheet can adhere to various adherends and the adhesive becomes less likely to squeeze out from an adherend in thermal fusion bonding and sealing of the adherend. In a laminate comprising the adhesive sheet the adhesive layer does not squeeze out from the adherend without being affected by the material of the adherend.
SELF-SUPPORTING FIBERIZED WEB INCLUDING A HOT MELT COMPOSITION FOR USE IN DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLES AND APPLICATION METHOD
Applicants' invention includes a disposable absorbent article including a top sheet, an absorbent core, and a self-supporting fiberized web situated between the top sheet and the absorbent core, wherein the self-supporting fiberized web includes a hot melt composition and is free of absorbent materials.
ADHESIVE COATING COMPOSITION FOR ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET, ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET LAMINATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET PRODUCT
An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides: an adhesive coating composition enabling adherence (coupling) of an electrical steel sheet without using conventional coupling methods such as welding, clamping, and interlocking; an electrical steel sheet laminate to which the same is applied; and a method for manufacturing the same.
An adhesive coating composition for an electrical steel sheet, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, includes, on the basis of 100 wt % of total solids: 15 to 70 wt % of a first composition containing an organic resin and an organic/inorganic composite in which inorganic nanoparticles are substituted for an organic resin; 20 to 80 wt % of a second composition containing a metal phosphate and phosphoric acid; and 1 to 10 wt % of a coupling agent.
The coupling agent may contain one or more of a silane-based coupling agent, a titanate-based coupling agent, and an aluminate-based coupling agent.
POLYCHLOROPRENE-BASED CONTACT ADHESIVES CONTAINING ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMER
Contact adhesive compositions comprising polychloroprene and, based on the polychloroprene content, 10 to 99 wt % of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer exhibit outstanding adhesion to substrates such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, thermoplastic elastomers or flexible PVC. The contact adhesive compositions of the invention are especially suitable for use in the bonding of articles, preferably articles in which at least part of the articles to be bonded consists of polyurethane, flexible PVC, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers and/or thermoplastic elastomers. This allows the adhesive composition to be employed widely in the footwear industry, for the bonding of roofing membranes containing flexible PVC, ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) and/or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, or for the bonding of synthetic leather based on flexible PVC.
