GREASE COMPOSITION FOR CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINTS, AND CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINT IN WHICH SAME IS SEALED
The present invention provides a grease composition for constant velocity joints, which includes a lubricating base oil, a thickener including a nitrogen-containing compound, a triglyceride, a diester, and a boron nitride, wherein a total content of the triglyceride and the diester is 1 to 5 mass % based on a total amount of the grease composition, and a mass ratio of a content of the triglyceride to a content of the diester (triglyceride/diester) is 0.3 to 1.5.
TOP OF RAIL APPLICATOR
A top of rail (TOR) applicator has a bar positioned in a housing and an exit orifice on the upper portion of the bar for delivering a friction control composition to the crown of a railhead. The upper portion of the bar slopes away from the friction control composition exit orifices. The bar may be composed of an elastomer such as polyurethane. Passageway extend from an inlet or entry orifice to the exit orifices. The friction reduction composition is pumped into the entry orifice, through the passageways to the exit orifices and then onto the crown of the railhead. The friction reduction composition may be thixotropic.
System, composition and method of application of same for reducing the coefficient of friction and required pulling force during installation of wire or cable
A composition and method for reducing the coefficient of friction and required pulling force of a wire or cable are provided. A composition of aqueous emulsion is provided that is environmentally friendly, halogen free and solvent free. The composition is compatible with various types of insulating materials and may be applied after the wire or cable is cooled and also by spraying or submerging the wire or cable in a bath. The composition contains lubricating agents that provide lower coefficient of friction for wire or cable installation and continuous wire or cable surface lubrication thereafter.
LUBRICATING OIL FOR PRESS WORKING
A lubricating oil for press working contains a base oil and a fat or oil-containing additive and a calcium-containing additive added to the base oil. The proportion of the fat or oil-containing additive with respect to the whole volume of the lubricating oil for press working is 10 to 30%. The proportion of the calcium-containing additive with respect to the whole volume of the lubricating oil for press working is 5 to 15%.
METALWORKING OIL COMPOSITION
Disclosed is a metalworking oil composition containing: at least one base oil (A) selected from a mineral oil and a synthetic oil; sulfurized oils and fats (B) having a kinematic viscosity at 40 C. of 60 mm.sup.2/s or more and 1,600 mm.sup.2/s or less; and a polymer (C) of an unsaturated fatty acid having a carbon number of 10 or more.
METHOD FOR PREPARING NANOPARTICLE OF ACTIVE INGREDIENT USING LIPID AS LUBRICANT IN MILLING PROCESS
The present invention relates to a method for preparing nanoparticle of active ingredient using lipid as lubricant in milling process, and more specifically, it relates to a method for preparing active ingredient into nanoparticle, which can be properly used in drugs, cosmetics, functional foods, etc., by pulverizing a mixture comprising the active ingredient and a lipid as a lubricant, and a biocompatible polymer having a glass transition temperature of 80 C. or higher by roll mill, and then removing the lipid used as a lubricant therefrom by using supercritical fluid.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITIONS
The present invention relates to lubricant compositions that are especially suitable for the lubrication of turbines or (turbo)compressors which serve to compress chlorine and/or chlorinated products. The lubricant composition comprises a base oil, an antihydrolysis component and a rust and oxidation inhibitor.
Lubricant compositions
Lubricant composition formulations comprising at least one biodegradable plastic, such as polyhydroxyalkanoate and/or polybutylene succinate, and at least one lubricant, such as a vegetable oil.
MICROALGAL COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
Provided are microalgal compositions and methods for their use. The microalgal compositions include lubricants that find use in industrial and other applications.
SOLID LUBRICANT, LUBRICATING COATING AGENT FOR METAL MATERIAL, SURFACE-TREATED METAL MATERIAL, AND METHOD FOR FORMING LUBRICATING COATING FOR METAL MATERIAL
Provided is a solid lubricant that is non-black in color and capable of reducing industrial waste (environmental conservation), and further capable of achieving a balance among excellent lubricity, moisture absorption resistance, and corrosion resistance in a heavy working region, and a lubricating coating agent including the solid lubricant.
A solid lubricant including carrier particles including a lipophilic lubricating component that is at least one of an oil, an extreme-pressure agent, a soap, and a wax between particles of and/or between layers of at least one layered clay mineral selected from the group consisting of natural products and synthetic products of a smectite group, a vermiculite group, a mica group, a brittle mica group, a pyrophyllite group, and a kaolinite group.
