Ethanol-free microemulsion perfuming compositions
The present invention provides a perfuming composition that is free of ethanol and that is in the form of a transparent, clear microemulsion that contains a fragrance at a concentration of 0.5 to 50% by weight; a solvent at a concentration of 1 to 36% by weight; a non-ionic surfactant at a concentration of 1 to 35% by weight; an ionic surfactant at a concentration of 0 to 12% by weight, a cooling hydrotrope at a concentration of 0.01 to 12% by weight and water. Said microemulsions benefit from the presence of a cooling hydrotrope which allows lowering the amount of surfactant needed and provides a cooling effect.
GLYCOSYLATED AROMA- AND FRAGRANCE PRECURSORS AND FRAGRANCE PRODUCTS THAT CAN BE ACTIVATED
The present invention discloses biotechnologically produced inactive aroma- and fragrance/scent precursors in new concentration ranges beyond those of natural aroma glycoside sources, which can be activated by external triggers like enzymes, temperature and p H, and then release the aroma and the fragrance.
PERFUME COMPOSITIONS
A perfume composition having controlled release of phytoncides in an atmosphere in order to generate an air condition resembling the air environment of a forest is provided. The perfume composition includes a) at least about 0.6% by weight of at least one phytoncide; and b) a perfume mixture including (i) at least one solvent; and (ii) at least one fragrance ingredient. At least about 25% by weight of the at least one phytoncide is selected from the group consisting of pinene alpha, pinene beta and combinations thereof.
CYCLOPROPANATED FRAGRANCE COMPOUNDS
The present invention relates to the use of certain cyclopropanated compounds as a fragrance. In particular, the compounds provide fruity and/or floral olfactory notes. Furthermore, the invention provides fragrance compositions and perfumed products comprising the cyclopropanated compounds as well as a method for producing a perfumed product. The invention also relates to a method of producing the cyclopropanated compounds and provides a number of novel cyclopropanated compounds.
NOVEL FLAVORING AGENT, FLAVORING AGENT COMPOSITION, AND PRODUCT COMPRISING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a novel flavoring agent and a product including the same, and more particularly, to a flavoring agent, that is a compound in which a moiety derived from a flavoring compound is represented by Formula 1 and which is decomposed into a lactone compound and a flavoring compound upon thermal decomposition, to a composition including the flavoring agent, and to a product including the flavoring agent.
IMPROVED PERFUME COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING SULFUR-CONTAINING PRO-FRAGRANCE COMPOUNDS
Described herein is a perfume composition including at least one perfumery raw material and at least one sulfur-containing pro-fragrance compound, where the perfume composition does not include more than 19 wt. % of perfumery raw materials that promote the formation of hydrogen sulfide from the sulfur-containing pro-fragrance. Also described herein are a method for preparing such a perfume composition as well as consumer products including the perfume composition.
WALLPAPER COMPOSITION AND WALLPAPER FROM WHICH FLAVOR INGREDIENTS ARE RELEASED BY HEAT
SPRAY COMPOSITIONS, SPRAYABLE PRODUCTS, AND METHODS OF TREATING A SURFACE WITH THE SAME
A spray composition is provided. The spray composition includes a perfume-cyclodextrin complex, the perfume-cyclodextrin complex having perfume raw materials, wherein 10% or more, by weight of the perfume raw materials have: a cyclodextrin complex stability constant (log k) of less than about 3.0, a C log P of about 2.5 or less; and a weight average molecular weight of about 200 Daltons or less; and cyclodextrin. The spray composition includes a solvent and less than 10 wt. % water, by weight of the total composition. A sprayable product including the spray composition and a method of treating a surface is provided.
POLYMERIC COMPOSITE PARTICLES
Compositions are provided that include a matrix and a polymeric composite particles disposed in the matrix. The polymeric composite particles include a porous polymeric core and a fragrance positioned within the porous polymeric core. Polymeric composite particles are also provided including a porous polymeric core, a fragrance positioned within the porous polymeric core, and a coating layer around the porous polymeric core. Further, a method of determining a minimum temperature of a composition is provided including providing a composition including polymeric composite particles disposed in a matrix, heating the composition, releasing at least a portion of the fragrance as a vapor from the porous polymeric core of the polymeric composite particles at or above the minimum temperature, and detecting at least a portion of the fragrance vapor in a location outside of the matrix.
POLY(ASPARTIC ACID) DERIVED CO-POLYMERS FOR A CONTROLLED RELEASE OF PERFUMING INGREDIENTS
The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns co-polymers, derived from aspartic acid and comprising at least one - or -aspartic acid derivative capable of liberating an active molecule such as, for example, an ,-unsaturated ketone or aldehyde. The present invention concerns also the use of polymers or co-polymers in perfumery as part of a perfuming or malodor counteracting composition, as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds.
