Gel cleaning composition
Cleaning compositions in the form of a self-adhesive aqueous gel are provided. The aqueous gel may be a rigid, hard aqueous gel that resists deformation of its shape. The gel composition may desirably have a hardness of at least about 150 g and/or a gel melt temperature of about 50-90 C. The cleaning compositions may include a polyalkoxy nonionic surfactant, such as an alkoxylated alcohol and/or polymeric alkylene oxide block copolymer, a co-hardening agent, and water. Methods for treating a hard surface, such as a toilet bowl, using the cleaning compositions are also provided.
COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING QUAT AND POLYSACCHARIDES
The present invention relates to a composition, notably a fabric conditioning composition, comprising at least: a quaternary ammonium compound, two different cationic polysaccharides; and a non-ionic polysaccharide. The composition has excellent conditioning performance combined with good stability.
Composition
The present invention relates to the field of laundry care, more particularly to a liquid laundry care composition, to a method for obtaining a liquid laundry care composition, and to the use of liquid laundry care compositions to provide an enhanced fragrance perception on fabrics.
LOW-VOC CLEANING SUBSTRATES AND COMPOSITIONS
The present invention is directed to a cleaning composition for sanitizing or disinfecting hard surfaces containing a cationic biocide, surfactant and low levels of VOC solvents. The cleaning composition is adapted to clean a variety of hard surfaces without leaving behind a visible residue and creates low levels of streaking and filming on the treated surface. The cleaning composition contains less than 5% by weight of VOCs. The cleaning composition may be used alone as a liquid or spray formulation or in combination with a substrate, for example, a pre-loaded cleaning wipe.
Cleansing Bars with Taurine
Described herein, are cleansing bar compositions comprising at least one cleanser chosen from soap and surfactant; taurine, in free or salt form; and at least one polymer. Methods of making using the cleansing bar compositions are also described.
INTERACTION BETWEEN QUATERNARY COMPOUNDS AND ANIONIC SURFACTANTS - FOAM ENHANCEMENT AND STABILIZATION AND PREFERRED FOAMING ANTIMICROBIAL COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure describes antimicrobial, sanitizing and other applications employing a synergistic combination of a quaternary ammonium compound and an anionic surfactant. The present disclosure is also related to non-antimicrobial applications employing a synergistic combination of a quaternary ammonium compound and an anionic and/or nonionic surfactant. The present disclosure is related to various forms of concentrated or use compositions containing the quaternary ammonium compound and an anionic surfactant (and in certain embodiments nonionic surfactants). In particular, the present disclosure provides compositions having desired foaming enhancement and methods employing the same for applications such as pot and pan compositions, hand soaps, facility sanitizing, and other soil removal applications with foam stabilization.
PERACETIC ACID STABILIZED COMPOSITIONS WITH STABLE LINING
The invention describes to compositions useful to stabilize peracetic acid, acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide compositions with polymeric phosphonic acid resins or with 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1,-diphosphonic acid associated with the interior surface of a container to stabilize the peracetic acid, acetic and hydrogen peroxide compositions.
ALKOXIDE-BASED SOLIDIFICATION USING CONCENTRATED ALKALI METAL HYDROXIDES
Solid compositions having a caustic source and polyol with a caustic:water weight ratio in the solid composition between 60:40 to less than about 70:30 are provided. Methods of making the solid compositions using a concentrated alkali metal hydroxide beneficially reduces or eliminates the use of solid caustic beads commonly used to make solid caustic compositions for use in cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting.
Compositions comprising cellulase with a nonionic surfactant and a quaternary ammonium compound
The disclosure is directed to cleaning compositions, methods of making the cleaning compositions, and methods of using the cleaning compositions. The cleaning compositions comprise an enzyme composition, a nonionic surfactant, and a quaternary amine. Preferably, the enzyme compositions included in the cleaning compositions comprise a cellulase, an AA9 polypeptide having cellulolytic enhancing activity, a hemicellulase, an esterase, an expansin, a laccase, a ligninolytic enzyme, a pectinase, a peroxidase, a protease, a swollenin, or a combination or mixture thereof. The compositions are useful for degradation of bacterial cellulose.
Itaconic acid-based multifunctional surfactant and preparation method therefor
The present disclosure relates to a polymerizable surfactant with reducibility and a preparation method thereof. The acid anhydride is reacted with a long-chain fatty alcohol to obtain an intermediate of an anhydride monoester, and then the obtained intermediate is reacted with the hydrochloride of dimethylaminohalogenated alkane, and a polymerizable surfactant with reducibility is obtained by post-processing. The polymerizable surfactant can not only play a role as a reactive emulsifier and copolymerize with monomers to obtain a soap-free emulsion, but also form a redox initiation system with peroxide, and conduct redox emulsion polymerization at room temperature. The soap-free emulsion synthesized by the polymerizable surfactant synthesized can greatly reduce the energy consumption in production, and can carry out one-step emulsion polymerization at normal temperature or low temperature to obtain an environment-friendly emulsion with a branched structure, thereby obtaining coatings with excellent water resistance, weather resistance, and impact resistance.
