ALKALINE CLEANING COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A HYDROXYPHOSPHONO CARBOXYLIC ACID AND METHODS OF REDUCING METAL CORROSION
The invention relates to compositions, methods of manufacture, and methods for reducing metal corrosion during alkaline cleaning. In particular, the method employs a hydroxyphosphono carboxylic acid in alkaline cleaning of hard surfaces.
PERFORMANCE GEAR, TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY, AND CLEANING AND PROTECTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A cleaning system for laundry which includes a washing agent and a protective agent. The washing agent is configured to remove unwanted matter from the laundry. The protective agent is configured to create a bonded barrier comprising organosilane antimicrobial(s) on the laundry for protection against odors from bacteria, mold and mildew and/or the like. The washing agent and the protective agent are configured to be used in a two-step water-based treatment process in which the washing agent is provided in a given first step of the treatment process and the protective agent is provided in a given subsequent second step of the treatment process.
Polymeric antimicrobial surfactant
Polycationic polymeric antimicrobial surfactant and polymeric biocompatible antimicrobial surfactant compositions are useful in dispersing various compounds in a carrier liquid. The polycationic polymeric antimicrobial surfactant and polymeric biocompatible antimicrobial surfactant compositions employ polymers having both hydrophilic domains and hydrophobic domains so that the compositions can disperse particles such as polymer particles or droplets in a continuous phase as well as provide stable dispersions that have not been provided before. The antimicrobial properties of the compositions provide much-needed capabilities of fighting infectious agents such as bacteria and viruses in a wide spectrum of products such as paint, adhesives, and coatings. Methods of using these compositions as well as methods of making products using the compositions are disclosed.

Disinfectant fogging composition
A composition is provided for a disinfectant fogger and cleaner for interior surfaces of confined spaces. The composition is water based and has an aqueous disinfectant containing quaternary ammonium compounds as active disinfecting ingredients, non-ionic surfactants, and a malodor absorbing agent. The composition provides a disinfectant for hard-nonporous and soft surfaces and allows for immediate occupancy and contact with a cleaned interior surface. The composition may be packaged as a ready-to-use disinfectant spray in an aerosol container with an on/off lockable discharge actuator as fine mist droplets that are dispersed onto the target surfaces for treatment.
Composition containing a modified hydroxyalkyl cellulose
Composition containing a modified hydroxyalkyl cellulose and a cationic surfactant, wherein the modified hydroxyalkyl cellulose has a cationic group and a hydrophobic group of a specific formula, each of which is bound to a group resulting from eliminating a hydrogen atom from a hydroxy group of the hydroxyalkyl cellulose; a degree of substitution of the hydroxyalkyl group in the hydroxyalkyl cellulose is 0.1 or more and 3 or less; and a content of the cationic surfactant is more than 1 part by mass and 1,500 parts by mass or less relative to 1 part by mass of the modified hydroxyalkyl cellulose.
Concentrated Liquid Rinse Aid Suitable for Dilution And Repeated Use
Concentrated liquid rinse aid formulations for automatic dishwashing applications are disclosed comprising a surfactant mixture of an ethoxylated and propoxylated C.sub.12 to C.sub.18 linear alcohol and an ethoxylated C.sub.12 to C.sub.15 branched alcohol, wherein the minimum amount of the surfactant mixture in the concentrated liquid rinse aid formulation is at least approximately 30 wt %.
