The crude oil sludge treatment agent contains green rust. The crude oil sludge treatment agent may further contain either or both a metal and a metal ferrite. The metal and the metal of the metal ferrite are one or more selected from the group consisting of aluminum, yttrium, zinc, copper, tin, chromium and silicon. The crude oil sludge treatment agent may also contain one or more selected from the group consisting of aluminum ferrite, yttrium ferrite and zinc ferrite. The crude oil sludge treatment method includes a mixing step in which crude oil sludge, water and green rust are mixed under alkali conditions.
OIL-CONTAMINATED SOIL AND GEROUND WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
An oil-contaminated soil and groundwater treatment system, in which the polluted groundwater pumped into the electrocatalytic device uses a high-voltage electric field to change the structure of water molecules. After high voltage discharge, electrocatalysis and electrolysis, alkaline reduced water, acidic oxidized water and neutral water can be quickly produced. By the oxidation effect of electrocatalytic device anode, chloride ions and dissolved oxygen in water generate hypochlorous acid and superoxide ions, and the interaction between the two generates hydroxyl radicals and microbubbles with high oxidizing ability and long-lasting oxidation, thereby effectively remediating soil and groundwater polluted by total petroleum hydrocarbons.

The invention relates to 100% renewably-powered desalination/water purification stations for universal applications, the station is disruptive, scalable, amphibious and deportable to seawater, brackish or spill oil sites for simple wave-powered and autonomous operations, the station has a mooring assembly with pumping-purification-delivery subsystems powered by wave and solar energies, the pumping subsystems has the simplest, most efficient wave push/pull pump mechanisms powered by amplified wave centrifugal forces , the mechanical purifications has turbine filters, reverse-osmosis filters, forward-osmosis filters and relief valves to backwash buildups without releasing brine, release water through collecting spill oil, the solar thermal purifications are provided with distilling processes under vaccine conditions, the delivery subsystems with wave turbines and solar panels for generating electricity, propellering and transferring the stations for delivering fresh waters to destinations under GPS guide with the lowest LCOW.
BUBBLE SIZE MONITORING AND CONTROL
Disclosed herein is a device and methods for enhancing oil separation from produced water. One such method includes mixing a multiphase fluid having at least a water phase and an oil phase with a flotation gas, according to at least one operating condition, so as to produce an enhanced multiphase fluid having bubbles of the flotation gas therein. The oil phase is then separated from the water phase using a separator. At least one property associated with the enhanced multiphase fluid is monitored. The operating condition is adjusted as a function of the monitored property so as to increase a percentage of the oil phase separated from the water phase by the separator over a percentage of the oil phase that would be separated from the water phase without adjustment of the operating condition.
PRODUCTION OF BARIUM SULFATE AND FRACTURING FLUID VIA MIXING OF PRODUCED WATER AND SEAWATER
A system and method for generating base water and precipitate, including combining produced water with seawater to precipitate barium sulfate from barium in the produced water and from sulfate in the seawater, and separating the precipitate to give the base water and the precipitate. The base water may have less than a specified amount of sulfate and be utilized for hydraulic fracturing fluid. The precipitate may give a weighting agent for drilling.
Absorbent and method for producing an absorbent
An absorbent is provided, which is produced from component A, a foaming agent, and component B, a resin. Furthermore, a device and a method for producing the absorbent and a method for absorbing a liquid by means of the absorbent are provided.
Fluid waste filtration system with grease and garbage traps
A fluid waste filtration system includes a housing configured to be coupled between and in fluid communication with a sink and a primary grease trap. The housing defines a chamber and includes a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a grease outlet each in fluid communication with the chamber. The grease outlet is defined in a plane at or above a plane of the fluid outlet. A wall is disposed in the housing and divides the chamber into a first chamber and a second chamber. The wall is configured to direct a fluid that flows into the first chamber through the fluid inlet toward the grease outlet.
ACCELERATED SETTLEMENT OF FLOCS AFTER ELECTROCOAGULATION/ELECTROCHEMICAL PROCESS USING BALLASTED FLOCCULATION
A water treatment system comprises a source of water including one or more contaminants, an electrocoagulation cell including a housing defining a fluid flow conduit, an anode disposed within the fluid flow conduit, and a cathode disposed within the fluid flow conduit, the housing including an inlet fluidly connectable to the source of water and an outlet, a solids/liquid separation system having an inlet fluidly connectable to the outlet of the housing of the electrocoagulation cell, a solids-rich outlet, and a solids-lean outlet, and a ballast feed system configured to deliver a ballast to the solids/liquid separation system.
Composite material for removal of hydrophobic components from fluid mixtures
Composite materials for removing hydrophobic components from a fluid include a porous matrix polymer, carbon nanotubes grafted to surfaces of the porous matrix polymer, and polystyrene chains grafted to the carbon nanotubes. Examples of porous matrix polymer include polyurethanes, polyethylenes, and polypropylenes. Membranes of the composite material may be enclosed within a fluid-permeable pouch to form a fluid treatment apparatus, such that by contacting the apparatus with a fluid mixture containing water and a hydrophobic component, the hydrophobic component absorbs selectively into the membrane. The apparatus may be removed from the fluid mixture and reused after the hydrophobic component is expelled from the membrane. The composite material may be prepared by grafting functionalized carbon nanotubes to a porous matrix polymer to form a polymer-nanotube composite, then polymerizing styrene onto the carbon nanotubes of the polymer-nanotube composite.
POLYMER-BASED FILM, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, AND USE THEREOF
A polymer film has a loofah-like structure. It has a fibrous framework structure formed by three-dimensional interwoven and interconnected polymer fibers and a three-dimensional interconnected network pore structure distributed in the fibrous framework structure. The polymer is an organic polymer and the fibrous framework structure is integrally formed by the polymer. The film has a volume porosity of from 50% to 95%. The film is obtained by means of a combination method for atomization pretreatment and non-solvent phase separation. The film can be used in the fields of gas filtration, liquid filtration, oil-water separation, adsorption materials, catalysis, pharmaceutical sustained release materials, anti-adhesion coatings, oil delivery and oil spill interception.
