The head (12) comprises a first portion (16) having a plurality of bristles and a second portion (17) extending outwardly from the first portion (16) at an angle thereto. A recess (28) extends from adjacent a first end of the second portion (17) to adjacent a second end of the second portion (17) and a scraper blade (30) is fixed at least partially within the recess (28) such that at least portions of longitudinal ends of the scraper blade (30) are covered.

The invention comprises a broom that can be detachably coupled to a dustpan for ergonomic and efficient removal of materials in the dustpan into a collection receptacle simply by using one hand to lift the combination, without the need to bend over to pick up the dustpan. In an exemplary embodiment, the dustpan comprises a pair of mushroom head connectors that are received by corresponding keyhole shaped apertures in the broom

There is described herein a broom-style cleaning appliance with built in vacuum assembly that can be activated via an elongate nozzle member located adjacent a bundle of cleaning bristles to eliminate the need for a dustpan. Once the vacuum module is activated the debris is collected in a collection chamber housed above or adjacent to the cleaning bristles or elements.

A padel turf sand brush (1) and method for maintenance of padel turfs. The brush (1) comprises a base member (2). The brush (1) further comprises a brush shaft (7). The brush (1) further comprises a first (9) and a second elongated brush portion (10). The first (9) and the second elongated brush portion (10) interact when the brush (1) is in use by being moved on top of the surface of the padel turf, such that the padel turf sand is transferred from areas of the padel turf having too much sand to areas of the padel turf having too little sand, as some of the sand being brushed stays in front, in the direction of travel, of the first (9) and the second elongated brush portion (10), for a certain period of time.

The present disclosure provides a broom, specifically a broom head that is made of a single mold and therefore is a single-piece molded article. The broom includes a base member having two opposite faces, a bottom face and a top face. The base member is elongated along a longitudinal direction between first and second ends. An array of bristles intended to perform the sweeping activity protrudes from the bottom face and a rod receptacle configured to receive a rod for handling the broom protrudes from the top face. Each of the bristles of the array is spaced apart from any other bristle. To facilitate utilizing the broom also to sweep small particles, the broom further includes a fine dust sweeping element that protrudes from the bottom face, typically from an edge of the base member extending between the first and second ends.

A tool assembly includes an elongated handle and a locking system for attaching a tool head to the handle. The tool head can be a floor care tool or other accessory that can be attached to the handle such that the elongated length of the handle can aid in the use of the tool attached. The locking system includes a keyed locking collar for engaging at least a first portion of the tool head, and a locking cap rotatably positioned on the handle for engaging a second portion of the tool head. The handle can be extendable, such as by telescoping, and can also be overmolded.
