LAMINATED FILM
An object of the present invention is to provide a laminated film that exhibits superior water repellency and oil repellency and has good adhesion between a substrate film and a coating layer, and for this purpose, the laminated film is a laminated film comprising a substrate film and at least one coating layer laminated on the substrate film, wherein the coating layer contains an acid-modified polyolefin and hydrophobic oxide particles, and the acid-modified polyolefin has an acid value of 1 mgKOH/g or more and 60 mgKOH/g or less. Preferably, the laminated film is a solution means in which a surface of the coating layer has a contact angle with respect to water of 100 degrees or more.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION
Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition exhibiting both high transmittance and low haze and having excellent transparency and excellent scratch resistance and toughness. The thermoplastic resin composition of the present disclosure contains 50% to 99% by mass of methacrylic resin (A) and 1% to 50% by mass of thermoplastic polyurethane (B), wherein the methacrylic resin (A) contains 80.0% to 99.9% by mass of methacrylate ester monomer unit, 0.1% to 20.0% by mass of vinyl monomer unit containing a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with a methacrylate ester monomer excluding maleic acid and maleic anhydride, and 0% to 4.0% by mass of maleic acid and/or maleic anhydride monomer unit, and the thermoplastic polyurethane (B) has a structural unit derived from polyester polyol and a structural unit derived from isocyanate having an alicyclic ring.

The thermoplastic resin composition of the present disclosure contains 50% to 99% by mass of methacrylic resin (A) and 1% to 50% by mass of thermoplastic polyurethane (B), wherein the methacrylic resin (A) contains 80.0% to 99.9% by mass of methacrylate ester monomer unit, 0.1% to 20.0% by mass of vinyl monomer unit containing a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with a methacrylate ester monomer excluding maleic acid and maleic anhydride, and 0% to 4.0% by mass of maleic acid and/or maleic anhydride monomer unit, and the thermoplastic polyurethane (B) has a structural unit derived from polyester polyol and a structural unit derived from isocyanate having an alicyclic ring.
CRUDE OIL DEMULSIFIER COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to demulsifier compositions and methods of resolving emulsions using the compositions. The demulsifiers include modified hydroxy-succinimide copolymers. For example, the demulsifiers may include ethoxylated or propoxylated hydroxy-succinimide copolymers. The demulsifier compositions are useful for resolving oil-in-water, water-in-oil, and complex emulsions of water and oil.

The present disclosure relates to demulsifier compositions and methods of resolving emulsions using the compositions. The demulsifiers include modified hydroxy-succinimide copolymers. For example, the demulsifiers may include ethoxylated or propoxylated hydroxy-succinimide copolymers. The demulsifier compositions are useful for resolving oil-in-water, water-in-oil, and complex emulsions of water and oil.

The present invention provides a maleimide-based copolymer, a method for producing same, and a resin composition obtained using same. This maleimide-based copolymer contains 40-60 mass % of aromatic vinyl monomer units, 5-20 mass % of vinyl cyanide monomer units, and 35-50 mass % of maleimide monomer units, and is such that a 4 mass % tetrahydrofuran solution of the copolymer has a transmittance of 90% or more for light having a wavelength of 450 nm at an optical path length of 10 mm, and the residual maleimide-based monomer amount is less than 300 ppm. This maleimide-based copolymer preferably further contains 0-10 mass % of unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomer units, and preferably has a glass transition temperature of 165° C. or higher.

This invention relates a wax inhibitor for hydrocarbon oils comprising an esterified copolymer having repeating structural units derived from an esterified ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and α-olefins having at least 18 carbon atoms, whereof at least 3 mol-% of the α-olefins have 30 or more carbon atoms, and wherein the ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid has been esterified with a mixture of alcohols comprising i) 70 to 97 mol-% of a saturated fatty alcohol having 18 to 24 carbon atoms and ii) 3 to 30 mol-% of an unsaturated alcohol having 16 to 24 carbon atoms.
