Sound absorption material, method of making the same and speaker box filled with the same
The present invention discloses a sound absorption material including an organic frame material; a binder; a thickener; and a plurality of sound absorption grains attached to the organic frame material via the binder, having a grain size in a range of 10-100 μm. The stability and the sound absorption performance of the sound absorption material have been effectively improved.
THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE FILM AND MULTILAYER FILM
Problem to be Solved
A thermoplastic polyurethane film that is capable of achieving a stress relaxation property regardless of the type of polyol, while having good pasting workability, as well as a multilayer film using the same, is provided.
Solution
The thermoplastic polyurethane film is constituted by a reaction product obtained by using dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate (H.sub.12MDI). This enables the thermoplastic polyurethane film and the multilayer film to have a good stress relaxation property regardless of the type of polyol, and to have excellent pasting workability.
Coating Tape for Inorganic Layer for Electrode and Method of Manufacturing the Same
The present invention relates to a coating tape and a method of manufacturing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a coating tape in which an inorganic layer formed on one surface or both surfaces of an electrode is formed in the form of an adhesive tape so as to be attached to a battery, and a method of manufacturing the same.
SOLID-STATE METHOD FOR TREATING POLYAMIDE AND POLYESTER ARTICLES
Solid-state branching and/or crosslinking of aliphatic polyamide or polyester articles is achieved using a topical approach. A surface of the article is coated with a composition that includes a polyene and a free radical initiator. The article and applied coating are then heated to induce branching and/or crosslinking in the polyamide or polyester. This is performed below the crystalline melting temperature of the polyamide or polyester, or in the case of a fabric, below the melting temperature of the fibers in the fabric. Fabrics treated in this manner exhibit reduced or even no dripping in vertical flame tests.
Polyester-based coating composition for metal substrates
The present invention provides novel packaging articles, e.g., food and beverage cans, having a novel coating composition applied to at least a portion of a surface thereon. In preferred embodiments, the coating composition includes at least a film-forming amount of a copolyester resin having a backbone that includes one or more soft segments and a plurality of hard segments. The copolyester resin preferably has a glass transition temperature from about from about 10° C. to about 50° C. The present invention also provides a method for making coated articles.
Polyimide film, laminate and surface material for display
A polyimide film includes a polyimide in which a specific amount of molecular framework containing one or two silicon atoms in its main chain, wherein a total light transmittance measured in accordance with JIS K7361-1 is 85% or more; wherein a yellowness index calculated in accordance with JIS K7373-2006 is 30 or less; wherein a glass transition temperature is in a temperature range of from 150° C. to 400° C.; and wherein a tensile elastic modulus at 25° C. obtained by measuring a 15 mm×40 mm test piece at a tensile rate of 10 mm/min and a chuck distance of 20 mm in accordance with JIS K7127, is 1.8 GPa or more.
Dielectric film and power capacitor comprising dielectric film
A dielectric film is provided. The dielectric film includes a dielectric polymer substrate having two surfaces opposite to each other and a coating layer formed on at least one of the two surfaces of the dielectric polymer substrate by chemical vapor deposition polymerization and/or irradiation polymerization. A power capacitor includes the dielectric film. A process for preparing the dielectric film is provided.
Polyurethane coating compositions and their use as gel coats
Polyurethane coating compositions are disclosed that include an isocyanate-reactive component that includes a polycyclic polyether polyol that is the reaction product of a reaction mixture that includes a polycyclic polyol starter, and an alkylene oxide, as well as an isocyanate-functional component that includes a non-aromatic polyisocyanate. The polyurethane coating compositions may be particularly useful as a gel coat in the manufacture of glass fiber reinforced plastics.
Durability-enhanced thermochromic film and method of manufacturing same
A process for fabricating a thermochromic film is disclosed which includes the steps of dispersing a predetermined amount of vanadium dioxide (VO.sub.2) nanoparticles in a predetermined amount of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), stirring a mixture thereof for a first predetermined amount of time, generating cross-links to molecule chains of the PMMA in the mixture, and blade coating a predetermined thickness of the cross-linked mixture on a substrate to form the thermochromic film.
Modified plastic surfaces with perfluoropolymers and method for producing same
Modified plastic surfaces with perfluoropolymers are provided, whereby plastic surfaces that are intended for use under tribological conditions have substantially improved assembly properties and/or sliding friction properties and exhibit a very low degree of wear. Accordingly, modified plastic surfaces with perfluoropolymers are provided in which modified perfluoropolymer (micro)powders are present at the surface of plastics that comprise olefinically unsaturated double bonds at least at the surface such that the modified perfluoropolymer (micro)powders are chemically covalently bonded via a radical coupling of the olefinically unsaturated double bonds with perfluoropolymer (peroxy) radicals of the modified perfluoropolymer (micro)powders after a reactive conversion under mechanical stress at room temperature.
