LATEX AUXILIARY COMPOSITION FOR PRODUCING LATEX SOLUTION
The present invention provides an latex auxiliary composition for producing a latex solution, comprising: a sulfur-free crosslinking agent, which has aluminum oxide, calcium chloride, magnesium oxide, and zirconium dioxide; and a biomass filler, which has sorbitol, polyacrylate, laurate, 1,2-glycerol diacetate, and 1,3-glycerol diacetate; wherein when the sulfur-free crosslinking agent and biomass filler are added to the latex solution, based on 100 parts of the latex, the amount of the sulfur-free crosslinking agent is 0.1˜5.0 parts, and the amount of the biomass filler is 0.1˜20.0 parts.
Hot melt extrusion composition using direct compressible excipient as plasticizer
The present invention relates to the use of spray-dried sorbitol, such as Parteck® SI, as plasticizer for polymer containing compositions processed by (hot) melt extrusion. Due to its improved properties, achieved by its special manufacturing process (spray drying), this direct compressible excipient shows more additional benefits than the same substance in crystalline state.
Cooling infill for synthetic turf applications
Disclosed is an infill for an artificial turf field, the infill comprising: from about 40 wt. % to about 60 wt. % of a polyvinyl chloride resin; from about 5 wt. % to about 30 wt. % of a plasticizer derived from a naturally occurring source; from about 2 wt. % to about 10 wt. % of a reflective pigment; from about 0.01 wt. % to about 0.1 wt. % of a blowing agent; and from about 5 wt. % to about 30 wt. % of a filler. The infill is pelletized and maintains the temperature of an artificial turf field, when disposed throughout the artificial turf field, at a temperature about 15° F. to about 25° F. less than a temperature of a comparative artificial turf under substantially similar ambient and environmental conditions, wherein a comparative infill of the comparative artificial turf consists essentially of crumbed rubber infill.
