A stabilizer composition for producing a polymeric hollow article in a rotomolding process has stabilizing amounts of: (i) at least one chroman-based compound according to Formula (V):

wherein at least one instance of R.sub.21 is OR.sub.27, R.sub.27 is COR′″ or Si(R.sub.28).sub.3, and R′″, R.sub.22, R.sub.23 R.sub.24, R.sub.25 and R.sub.26 are as defined herein; (ii) at least one phosphite or phosphonite; and (iii) a basic co-additive selected from alkali metal or alkaline metal salts of higher fatty acids. A polymeric hollow article is made by a process comprising: a) filling a mold with a polyolefin and a stabilizing amount of the stabilizer composition described herewith; b) rotating the mold around at least one axis while heating the mold in an oven, thereby fusing the composition and spreading it to the walls of the mold; c) cooling the mold; and d) opening the mold to remove the resulting polymeric hollow article.

An epoxide resin for the manufacture of a fibre-reinforced composite material having fire retardant properties and/or for use as an adhesive or hot-melt adhesive having fire retardant properties, the epoxide resin being halogen-free and phenolic resin-free, the epoxide resin comprising: A. a mixture of (i) at least one first non-halogenated multifunctional epoxide-containing resin which has an epoxide functionality of greater than 2 and (ii) at least one second non-halogenated multifunctional epoxide-containing resin which has an epoxide functionality of less than or equal to 2; B. at least one catalyst for curing the mixture of epoxide-containing resins to form a cured epoxy resin; and C. at least one fire retardant additive for forming an intumescent char when the cured epoxy resin is exposed to a fire, wherein the at least one fire retardant additive comprises expandable flake graphite and wherein the expandable flake graphite is present in a concentration of from 0.09 to 2.5 wt % based on the weight of the epoxide resin.

Methods for improving color stability in polyethylene resins

Polymer compositions containing a titanated chromium-based ethylene polymer, 150-350 ppm of zinc stearate and/or calcium stearate, 50-5000 ppm of a phenolic antioxidant, 200-3000 ppm of a diphosphite antioxidant, and optionally, 200-3000 ppm of a monophosphite antioxidant, are described. These polymer compositions have improved long-term color stability, as well as lower levels of color formation after aging.

Polymer compositions containing a titanated chromium-based ethylene polymer, 150-350 ppm of zinc stearate and/or calcium stearate, 50-5000 ppm of a phenolic antioxidant, 200-3000 ppm of a diphosphite antioxidant, and optionally, 200-3000 ppm of a monophosphite antioxidant, are described. A resin composition includes a (meth) acrylate oligomer, and an oxygen inhibition preventing agent including at least one of a phosphite compound having a boiling point of about 150° C. or higher, and a phosphine compound having a boiling point of about 150° C. or higher, wherein the oxygen inhibition preventing agent is included in an amount of about 0.1 wt % or more and less than about 1 wt % with respect to a total amount of a (meth)acrylate. An adhesive member formed by photocuring the resin composition exhibits excellent adhesion at high temperatures, and may thus exhibit excellent reliability in case used in a flexible display device.
