Material comprising outer layer having entanglement of hydrophobic polymer host blended with anhydride functionalized hydrophobic polymer co-host and hydrophilic guest
The present disclosure provides, inter alia, a method of producing an outer layer material for forming into a structure and that comprises an entanglement having a hydrophobic polymer host and a hydrophilic guest, including in one embodiment the steps of: intermingling cloaked hydrophilic guest complexes with the hydrophobic host; crosslinking molecules of the guest with the guest; and performing a hydrolysis reaction.
Polysaccharide particle mixture
Tissue and other body structures may be protected using a dry, free-flowing, sterilized mixture of chitosan particles and oxidized polysaccharide particles in sealed packaging. The mixture may assist in returning an injured, inflamed or surgically repaired surface to a normal state, e.g., through one or more healing mechanisms such as modulation of an inflammatory response, phagocytosis, mucosal remodeling, reciliation or other full or partial restoration of normal function.

Combination of substituted cyclodextrin compound and activated carbon
The invention is a composition that can prevent formation in, or scavenge undesirable organic materials from, a polymer matrix. The composition contains cyclodextrin and particles of activated carbon. The composition can scavenge thermal decomposition products that can be produced during melt processing of a polymer, contaminants inherent in a polymer, or other types of impurities from a polymer matrix that otherwise may elute into the air, a water supply, or an ingestible material such as a food, a drug, or a beverage. Other aspects of the invention are blends of the composition with polymeric materials, methods of making blends, articles containing the composition, and methods of making articles containing the composition.

RESIN COMPOSITION AND RESIN MOLDED BODY
A resin composition containing: a cellulose ester having at least two types of acyl groups; and an esterified starch.
Biodegradable material made of biological components
The invention relates to a biodegradable material made of biological components, comprising 10 to 60 wt. % of a protein adhesive (1), which is made of at least one protein, and 2 to 50 wt. % of natural fibers (4). Furthermore, 2 to 15 wt. % of at least one hygroscopic mineral (7), 10 to 55 wt. % of water (2), and 0 to 50 wt. % of an additive component (5) are provided in the material (10).

Labels compatible with recycling
Adhesive compositions, facestocks and/or packaging labels containing same, where such compositions, facestocks and/or labels designed to facilitate the recyclability of a plastic article formed from any suitable polymer or mixture of polymers (e.g., a polyethylene terephthalate (PET), recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), low density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polyesters, recycled polyesters, polylacticacid (PLA), biopolymers, cellulose or other types of polymers or plastics) are described. Methods for removing an adhesive composition, facestock and/or packaging label containing same, from a plastic article that is to be recycled and/or subjected to multi-generational recycling are also provided.
DILUTION THICKENING COMPOSITION
An aqueous composition comprising: (1) an alkyl cellulose ether, and (2) an acrylic polymer comprising polymerized units of (i) 35 to 65 wt % C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl acrylates; (ii) 30 to 60 wt % C.sub.3-C.sub.6 carboxylic acid monomers; and (iii) 2 to 10 wt % of monomers having an alkyl group having at least ten carbon atoms.
