AMINO ACID SURFACTANTS
The present disclosure provides derivatives of amino acids that have surface-active properties. The amino acid can be naturally-occurring or synthetic, or they may be obtained via a ring-opening reaction of a lactam, such as caprolactam. The amino acid may be functionalized to form a compound that is surface-active and have advantageous surfactant characteristics. The compounds of the present disclosure have low critical micelle concentrations (CMC) as well as superior ability to lower the surface tension of a liquid.

The present disclosure relates to a flexible material which imitates leather, more in particular a textile material, coated with products of vegetable origin.
The present disclosure relates to a flexible material comprised of a coated textile substrate, woven, knitted or non-woven fabric, the coating material of which having in its constitution vegetable by-products and residues, which may be of different typologies. In particular, the textiles have residues attached to the textile substrate through the use of a binder.
The flexible material of the present disclosure is useful for the textile and confectionery industry and can be extensively applied in the textile industry namely in the manufacture of textile materials for clothing or for application in furniture, home textiles and decoration, footwear, automobile upholstery, bags, wallets, belts, leather goods, etc.
NON-ICING SURFACES
A coating applied to a surface to minimize or prevent the ability of drops of super-cooled water that impact on the surface from transforming into ice, comprises one or more layers collectively providing: a) thermal insulation between the surface to be protected and the drop; and b) a superhydrophobic surface on the top.
Method for preventing hardener compounds to be formed from hardener precursors and extending shelf life of the dispersion
A method is disclosed for preventing hardener compounds to be formed from hardener precursors in a sealed and pressurized aerosol can. This includes a paint forming dispersion containing after sealing the can a liquefied propellant, epoxy or/and polyurethane resins amount W1, hardener precursor of the epoxy or/and polyurethane resins amount W3, where the epoxy or urethane hardener precursors are selected from a group including an imine, an enamine, a Mannich base, a Schiff's base, an oxazolidine, an aldimine and mixtures thereof, free water of amount W1 in a range of 1-10000 ppm, and brought into the can alongside with the other paint dispersion forming chemicals before sealing the can. A catalytic compound prevents formation of the epoxy or/and polyurethane hardener amines from the epoxy or/and polyurethane hardener precursors: ##STR00001##
CURABLE SILICONE COATING COMPRISING A NON-ORGANO TIN CATALYST
A coating composition is shown and described herein. The coating composition is a solvent-based silicone coating comprising a tin-free catalyst. In embodiments, the composition comprises (a) a hydroxyl terminated polydiorganosiloxane; (b) an organopolysiloxane having at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms in the organopolysiloxane molecule; (c) a catalyst comprising a metal carboxylate, wherein the catalyst is free of tin; (d) a solvent; (e) optionally an amino compound; (f) optionally an adhesion promotor; and (g) optionally a filler.
Tyre Dressing Composition
Disclosed are compositions, and articles containing the composition, where the composition comprises glycerine alkoxylates and/or glyceride esters, obtained by transesterification of seed oil, and their use to enhance the combined gloss index of surfaces. More specifically the compositions are disclosed for the purpose of using a tyre-dressing system to enhance the sidewall aesthetics of tyres without requiring the use of silicone oils.
Turf Printing and Removal Using Foaming Carrier
A system and composition for imprinting and removing high resolution images onto natural or artificial lawns and fields, covered areas such as sports fields, and landscapes, using a foaming carrier composition which enhances the functional performance of liquids containing special active agents to accomplish specific tasks such as marking and painting. The foaming carrier composition can be a solution of one or more active agents for painting, cleaning, lubricating, fertilizing, and effervescing various surfaces including athletic fields.
MIXING SYSTEM
The mixing system includes a first container filled with a polyol composition, a second container filled with an isocyanate composition, and a stationary mixer configured to mix the polyol composition discharged from the first container and the isocyanate composition discharged from the second container. The polyol composition includes a polyol, a catalyst, and a low boiling point compound having a boiling point of less than 0 C. The isocyanate composition includes an isocyanate compound and a low boiling point compound having a boiling point of less than 0 C. The first container and the second container each have an internal pressure in a range of 0.3 to 1.0 MPa at 35 C., and a mixer portion of the stationary mixer has a length of 30 to 230 mm. A mixing system can be provided that enhances the mixability of a polyol composition and a polyisocyanate composition in a stationary mixer and prevents curing in the stationary mixer.
