Blow molded resin furniture having a stabilizing box structure
The invention involves a system and method for constructing lawn furniture. The system includes box type beam members as well as a large box structure supported above a ground surface. The box structure provides rigidity and stability to the furniture while also functioning as storage space. The components are formed to ship in a dissembled compact state and snap together with minimal use of fasteners and tools.
Chair frame
A chair, according to the present invention has an inverted pyramidal shape primarily determined by triangular side and back frames of the chair. The frames include two side frames and a back frame and preferably a smaller front frame. Each side frame is secured to a central portion of a pedestal type base and extends upwardly and outwardly from the base. Each frame adjacent an upper edge is mechanically secured to an adjacent frame with the frames cooperating to form a U shape generally at the height corresponding to side arms of the chair. A support seat is provided in the frames and the side frames define arms of the chair. A back support is secured to the back frame at a position intermediate the height of the back support with a lower edge of said back support joining with a rear edge of the support seat. The side frames and back frame between said seat and an upper edge of the frames are of a triangular or truncated triangular shape.
CHAIR WITHOUT COMBINING COMPONENTS
A chair without combining components comprises a chair frame including two leg frames for combining a chair seat and two assembly posts; a rear transversal supporting rod installed at a back side between the two leg frames of the chair frame; each of two lateral side of the chair back having an insertion hole for receiving one of the two assembly posts and a buckling sleeve; wherein in assembly, the assembly post is inserted into the hollow portion of the buckling sleeve and then the buckling sleeve is inserted into the insertion hole of the chair back; after assembly, a top end of the buckling sleeve is between a top end of the assembly post and an inner upper wall of the insertion hole so as to suffer forces from the assembly post toward the inner upper wall of the insertion hole.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MODULAR SEATING HAVING UNIVERSAL SLOTS
Provided herein are modular seating systems for assembling a customizable seating configuration, having: a plurality of frame components, each having: a frame body having legs; a top end having; a groove along each one of the four sides; a corner block at each one of the four corners; a plurality of attachment components, each having: an attachment body; an insert part configured to fit into a groove of the frame components; wherein each attachment component of the plurality of attachment components is configured to associate with any one of the frame components of the plurality of frame components by inserting the insert part of an attachment component into the groove of one of the four sides of the frame body of a frame component.
