A process for selectively making hydrocracked n-paraffins from hydrocarbon compositions comprising heavy n-paraffins is disclosed. The process generally comprises the use of a hydrocracking catalyst comprising an unsulfided low acidity noble metal containing zeolite. The invention is useful for making lighter n-paraffin products for various applications, generally including upgrading hydrocarbon feedstocks to produce fuels, solvents, lubricants, chemicals and other hydrocarbonaceous compositions, and more particularly, as feedstocks for ethylene and linear alkyl benzene production and as jet and diesel fuel blend components.

A multi-stage process for reducing the environmental contaminants in an ISO8217 Table 2 compliant Feedstock Heavy Marine Fuel Oil involving a core desulfurizing process and a Detrimental Solids Removal Unit as a pre-treating step or post-treating step to the core process. The product of the process is a Product Heavy Marine Fuel Oil compliant with ISO 8217 Table 2 for residual marine fuel including a maximum sulfur content (ISO 14596 or ISO 8754) less than 0.5 wt % and a Detrimental Solids content less than 60 mg/kg. A device for conducting the process and producing the product is disclosed.
Catalytic cracking process and catalyst system therefor
A catalytic cracking process includes a step of contacting a cracking feedstock with a catalytic cracking catalyst in the presence of a radical initiator for reaction under catalytic cracking conditions. The radical initiator contains a dendritic polymer and/or a hyperbranched polymer. The dendritic polymer and the hyperbranched polymer each independently has a degree of branching of about 0.3-1, and each independently has a weight average molecular weight of greater than about 1000. The catalytic cracking process is beneficial to enhancing and accelerating the free radical cracking of petroleum hydrocarbon and promoting the regulation of cracking activity and product distribution; by using the process disclosed herein, the conversion of catalytic cracking can be improved, the yields of ethylene and propylene can be increased, and the yield of coke can be reduced.
Method To Prepare An Aviation Fuel Component
The present disclosure relates to methods for preparing aviation fuel component from a feedstock containing fossil hydrotreating feed and a second feed containing esters of fatty acids and rosins, free fatty acids and resin acids. The method includes subjecting the feedstock to hydrotreatment reaction conditions to produce a hydrotreated stream, separating the hydrotreated stream to three fractions from which at least part the highest boiling fraction is subjected to hydrocracking reaction to produce a hydrocracked stream. At least part of the hydrocracked stream is admixed with at least part of the hydrotreated stream, and their admixture is processed further until desired conversion of the feedstock to the aviation fuel component is obtained.
Method for the conversion of feedstock containing naphtha to low carbon olefins and aromatics
Disclosed is a method for producing low carbon olefins and/or aromatics from feedstock comprising naphtha. The method can include the following steps: a) feeding feedstock comprising naphtha into a fast fluidized bed reactor; b) contacting the feedstock with a catalyst under conditions to produce a gas product and spent catalyst; c) separating the gas product to produce a stream comprising primarily one or more low carbon olefins and/or one or more aromatics; d) transporting the spent catalyst to a regenerator; e) regenerating the spent catalyst in the regenerator to form regenerated catalyst; and f) returning the regenerated catalyst to the fast fluidized bed reactor.
METHOD FOR MAXIMIZING ETHYLENE OR PROPENE PRODUCTION
Disclosed is a method for maximizing ethylene or propene production, the main steps thereof being: taking crude oil and distillate thereof, pre-processing urban mixed-waste plastics as raw material, then entering same into a catalytic cracking reactor, removing via a two-stage pre-wash tower and related separation, then cooling the reacted high-temperature oil and gas and removing impurities to obtain light and heavy distillate oils; performing a hydrogenation reaction operation on the heavy distillate oil; performing light distillate oil separation, performing a recombination operation on its olefins, its alkanes entering a steam cracking apparatus to produce rich ethylene, and its aromatic components being separated as by-products; the product of the described hydrogenation and recombination reaction and the steam-cracked distillate oil is recycled to the catalytic cracking reactor. In the production method of the present invention, the yield of ethylene and propene together is 45-75 m % of the raw material, and the yield of aromatics is 15-30 m % of the raw material; in particular, when using urban mixed-waste plastics as raw material, the ethylene or propene thus produced are used to produce new plastics by way of a conventional polymerization process, achieving the chemical recycling of waste plastics.

The process comprises hydrocracking a hydrocarbon feed in a single stage. The catalyst comprises a base impregnated with metals from Group 6 and Groups 8 through 10 of the Periodic Table. The base of the catalyst used in the present hydrocracking process comprises alumina, an amorphous silica-alumina (ASA) material, a USY zeolite, optionally a beta zeolite, and zeolite ZSM-12.

A process for the production of ultralow aromatic specialty distillate from different refinery streams particularly high sulfur streams. The process produces de-aromatized distillates with benzene content below 1 ppmw. Hydrocarbon feedstock having boiling temperature in the range of 90 and 350° C., preferably 140 and 320° C. The hydrocarbon feedstocks are obtained from any petroleum-refinery or bio-refinery or any other source producing hydrocarbon streams.

A process for producing a base oil composition from a deasphalted oil (DAO) feed, where the DAO feed undergoes hydrotreating, hydrocracking, catalytically dewaxing, hydrofinishing, and fractionating to generate the base oil composition. The base oil composition includes a hazy-free at 0° C. heavy base oil comprising (a) a kinetic viscosity ranging from 15 to 21 cSt at 100° C., (b) a 5 viscosity index of at least 95, (c) a pour point of less than −12° C., (d) a cloud point of less than −18° C., and (e) a total aromatics content of 2 wt % or less, where the hazy-free at 0° C. heavy base oil maintains a hazy-free appearance when stored undisturbed at 0° C. during a test period.
