CLEANING COMPOSITIONS FOR CLEANING HARD SURFACES
The disclosure provides a cleaning composition for cleaning a hard surface, comprising: a) an oil and/or fat, wherein the oil and/or fat is from 1% to 20% by weight based on a total weight of the composition; b) a polyol; c) a surfactant, wherein a weight ratio of the surfactant to the oil and/or fat is equal to or greater than 1:5. The disclosure further relates to a method of preparing the cleaning composition and uses thereof.
COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING CELLULASE WITH QUATERNARY AMMONIUM COMPOUNDS
The disclosure is directed to cleaning compositions, methods of making the cleaning compositions, and methods of using the cleaning compositions. The cleaning compositions comprise an enzyme composition, a nonionic surfactant, and a quaternary amine. Preferably, the enzyme compositions included in the cleaning compositions comprise a cellulase, an AA9 polypeptide having cellulolytic enhancing activity, a hemicellulase, an esterase, an expansin, a laccase, a ligninolytic enzyme, a pectinase, a peroxidase, a protease, a swollenin, or a combination or mixture thereof. The compositions are useful for degradation of bacterial cellulose.
PROCESS OF MAKING A LIQUID CONDITIONING COMPOSITION
Processes for making a liquid conditioning composition, for example by using a first feedstock composition that includes perfume.
Surfactant composition
A process for making a surfactant composition is disclosed. In the process, a mixture comprising a sugar alcohol and fatty is formed. The mixture contains less than 5% by weight of water based on the total weight of the mixture. The mixture is reacted with an alkylene oxide to make a surfactant composition containing an alkoxylated sugar alcohol fatty acid ester and a polyalkylene glycol fatty acid ester. A surfactant composition and use of the surfactant composition to separate an oil phase and/or an aqueous phase from an emulsion is also disclosed.
Aqueous rinse aid composition free of poloxamer type surfactants
An aqueous rinse aid solution for use in a dishwashing machine wherein the solution is substantially free of poloxamer type surfactants and wherein the solution produces water sheeting and spot-free dishware drying, the solution consists of food additives permitted for direct addition to food for human consumption and water.
SURFACTANT SYSTEMS
The invention provides a surfactant system, for use in household detergent compositions, which is a mixture of: (i) at least one sulfonate-functionalized alkyl polyglycoside of general formula (I):
R—O-(G).sub.n-(D) (I) in which: p0 R represents a straight or branched chain monovalent hydrocarbyl radical having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms; G represents a residue of a reducing saccharide, connected to R—O by means of an ethereal O-glycosidic bond; n represents a number from 1 to 10; and D represents a —CH.sub.2CH(OH)CH.sub.2—SO.sub.3M group connected to an oxygen atom of G, where M is selected from H or a monovalent cation selected from Na, K, or NH.sub.4; and (ii) at least one ethoxylated fatty acid sorbitan ester of general formula (II):
Sorb-(EO.sub.n1R.sub.1)(EO.sub.n2R.sub.2)(EO.sub.n3R.sub.3)(EO.sub.n4R.sub.4) (II) in which: Sorb represents a residue obtained by removing four hydroxyl H atoms from sorbitan; EO represents an ethyleneoxy group; R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4are each independently selected from H or a —C(O)R.sub.5 group in which R.sub.5 is selected from straight or branched chain monovalent hydrocarbyl radicals having from 8 to 22 carbon atoms and mixtures thereof (provided that at least one of R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 is —C(O)R.sub.5); n.sub.1, n.sub.2, n.sub.3 and n.sub.4 each independently represent average values from 0 to 10; and the total [n.sub.1+n.sub.2+n.sub.3+n.sub.4] has an average value from 4 to 30; and in which the weight ratio of (i):(ii) in the mixture ranges from 5:1 to 1:5.
PROCESS OF REMOVING MICROORGANISM FROM AN ARTICLE OF CLOTHING
A process of removing microorganism from an article of clothing is provided in which the process comprises the steps of a) providing an article of clothing in a washing machine; and b) contacting said article of clothing during a wash sub-cycle of said washing machine with a liquid detergent composition comprising a surfactant system and an organic acid, wherein the composition has a neat pH of from 1.5 to 5.0.
Aqueous light duty liquid detergent formulation
An aqueous light duty liquid detergent formulation is provided including a water; an essential oil; a derivative of castor oil having a formula selected from formula I and formula II; an ethoxylated phenol having formula III; an anionic surfactant and a zwitterionic surfactant. Also provided is a method of cleaning an article using the aqueous light duty liquid detergent formulation.
