IMPLEMENT FRAME CONVERTIBLE BETWEEN FIELD AND TRANSPORT POSITIONS
An implement frame having a carriage frame for coupling to a towing vehicle and wheels to support the frame for movement over a ground surface. A pivot frame is rotationally mounted to the carriage frame and a lift assembly is coupled to the pivot frame via a shift assembly. A tool bar is mounted to the lift assembly. The shift assembly moves the tool bar forward as it is moved from the field use position to the transport position. The wheels are mounted to swing arms to move the wheels inward for a narrow transport position. All motion is accomplished through actuators, such as hydraulic cylinders, to automate the process making it quick and easy.
Gauge wheel assembly with hinge
A hinge for a gauge wheel arm for movably swinging the gauge wheel away from the agricultural equipment, such as an agricultural planter, is disclosed. The hinge is located along the length of the gauge wheel arm for rotating the gauge wheel away from the agricultural equipment to expose an inner surface of the gauge wheel and an interior portion of the agricultural equipment. The gauge wheel arm rotates about an angle of rotation formed by the hinge and permitting rotation between 0 and 180 degrees. The gauge wheel arm may also include a lock bolt for preventing rotation of the gauge wheel when desired.
TOWING VEHICLE
A towing vehicle includes a vehicle body, a coupling device provided in a rear portion of the vehicle body, and an inching control switch located at a position in the rear portion of the vehicle body shifted from a center of the rear portion of the vehicle body in a vehicle width direction. The vehicle body has a mount surface provided adjacent to a rear corner thereof. The mount surface is exposed to the outside and the inching control switch projects from the mount surface to the outside of the vehicle. The mount surface extends at an angle with respect to the vehicle width direction. A part of the mount surface that is closest to the center of the rear portion in the vehicle width direction is located rearward of the other part of the mount surface that is most distant from the center of the rear portion.
ROW PLANTER WITH ADJUSTABLE GAUGE WHEELS
Adjustable gauge wheels are provided on a row unit planter adjacent the opening disc. The wheels are adjustable laterally for proper spacing adjacent the discs. The camber of the gauge wheels relative to discs is also adjustable. The lateral adjustment is accomplished via a wear bushing and pivot bushing extending into the wear bushing for each gauge wheel. A grease zerk is provided on the end of each pivot bushing to supply grease to the inside of the adjustment wear bushing. The camber adjustment is accomplished via a slot in the row planter frame and bolts extending into arms on a pivotal member.

Gauge wheel arm with split end and threaded bore
A mounting assembly for a gauge wheel on a row unit allows for infinite lateral adjustment of the gauge relative to an opening disc on the row unit. The mounting assembly includes an arm with a threaded bore extending through a split end of the arm. A threaded bushing is adjustably mounted in the bore and secured in a desired position with a bolt standing through the split end to clamp bushing in position. The split end mounting arm provides a method of quickly and easily adjusting the lateral position of the gauge wheel on the row unit in infinite increments.
Shiftable wheels for agricultural implements
A wheel assembly for an agricultural implement. The agricultural equipment includes a laterally-extending toolbar with one or more agricultural tools extending from the toolbar. The wheel assembly comprises a wheel configured to rotate along a ground surface. The wheel assembly additionally comprises a base bracket configured to be rigidly secured to the toolbar. The wheel assembly further comprises a wheel bracket adjustably engaged with the base bracket. Adjustment of the wheel bracket with respect to the base bracket causes a corresponding lateral shifting of the wheel with respect to the toolbar.
Towed agricultural implement
A towed agricultural implement includes one or more processing units each supported on a chassis, in which each chassis supports at least one processing unit on a central axis, the chassis having a left hand side wheel assembly support and a right hand side wheel assembly support, free ends of the wheel assembly supports having wheel assemblies, each wheel assembly comprising a wheel mounted on a wheel mount, the wheel mount being rotatable about an inclined axis, and the wheel being rotatable about a horizontal axis. The wheel assembly supporting structures and the wheel mounts allow limited relative movement of each wheel mount with respect to the wheel assembly supporting structures which enables greater control when the towed agricultural implement is towed about a corner.
TOWED OR SEMI-MOUNTED AGRICULTURAL MACHINE HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE AXLE DEVICE
A towed or semi-mounted agricultural machine having a chassis on which an axle device connecting two wheels to the chassis is mounted, this axle device being provided with at least one movable part and one fixed part in such a way that the spacing between the wheels can be modified, at least one of the wheels being integral with a movable part that is connected slidingly along a longitudinal axis to the fixed part, which is integral with the chassis. Each movable part is additionally connected mechanically to the chassis by a respective articulated link, which is articulated on the one hand with the movable part by a first articulation and on the other hand with the chassis by a second articulation.
